Tears this morning at assembly when my beautiful girl got this award, she has struggled to go to school for a long time now, but she set herself a challenge to show up this term, face her fears and I am so proud of her. Something that I tell my daughters all the time and it is a good reminder to all……

Success isn’t measured in how well you do at your school work, your grades, what level of reading or writing or maths you are at. Success is happiness, success is showing up, being a kind person, and success is pushing through your challenges, you can win at everything in life, have the perfect body or be wealthy, but it’s not these things that build a beautiful happy human, if you can master the art of happiness, love, kindness and resilience then you have won in life, these are the skills our children need to learn. They are enough 💛

It’s been a while, but I wanted to jump on here and Wish my mum and our beautiful mum’s that visited our 🌻 field Happy Mother’s Day! It’s one of life’s hardest jobs in the world to be a mum, even if you feel like your failing, your not! To the mums who have lost mum’s, want to be mum’s and the struggling mum’s your absolutely smashing it! You are all incredible and we so deserve this day and I hope you all know how loved and special you are. We got this 💛

Just reflecting back on how beautiful this season was!
It goes so fast but it’s just so beautiful, why does something so beautiful have to end so fast! I think that’s the beauty of it though, it gives us a short burst of incredible happiness in every Stem 😊🌻

I wasn’t going to post this pic from last night because to be honest I didn’t think I was looking that great whilst gorging on our corn 😅🌽

But life’s to short to think that way and what the heck nothings perfect and it’s in the moment with my beautiful daughter so that makes it beautiful 🤪💛

So I can confirm I harvested our first lot of sweet corn 🌽 that we have ever grown ahhhh and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!
So happy!

However little learning curve only about 50 made it out if the 5000 seeds, apparently you have to get a few things right!!

Turns out sunflowers 🌻 are much easier to grow! So we will try again next season and see if we can learn from this! It was fun to try something new though and yes you will make mistakes along the way but that’s life!
