Jules, often called Julesy, is an English Springer Spaniel who celebrates her birthday on Christmas Eve. She joined her family nine years ago and has been the heart of the household ever since.

Her great loves are tennis balls and squeaky toys, the louder the better. At the beach she is in her element, digging giant holes in the sand and swimming to her heart’s content. Mornings start with a gentle paw on the bed to remind everyone it is time for a walk.

Jules has her share of quirks too. She is terrified of balloons, horses, and cows, but adores the company of people and would choose humans over other dogs any day. At night she makes the rounds, cuddling up on everyone’s bed before finally settling in.

She has had her fair share of achievements, from winning Best Looking Dog at the Russell Dog Show to placing first in obedience and second in the obstacle course at the Te Puke A & P Show. If Jules had a job, she would be a nurse or psychologist because she has a natural gift for listening and being there when someone needs her most.

Jules has been enjoying some Holistic Hound pamper sessions and her family say they can see the difference. Her skin has been so much better, her fur is wonderfully soft, and she smells amazing.

Her theme songs would be The Most Beautiful Girl in the World or Walking on Sunshine - a good match for her happy, affectionate personality.

For Jules, life is best lived at the beach, chasing tennis balls, and being with her favourite human, Bridget, though the whole family insists they are her number one!

Betty (affectionately known as Betty Boop) is a Hungarian Vizsla who turns one on the 21st of August. She was one of two girls in a litter of six, originally from Palmerston North, and has been keeping her family on their toes ever since.

She has a knack for pulling the stuffing out of every toy she can find and leaving a trail of fluff around the house. A very expensive pair of glasses became a piece of modern art thanks to Betty’s curious teeth...

Betty has her own signature greeting: sitting upright on her hind legs, front paws up like a meerkat. She’s also convinced she’s a lap dog, despite being closer in size to a small horse.

Her favourite things include zooming through the olive grove, swimming at the beach, and giving plenty of “help” in the vege patch by digging it up. Indoors, her spot of choice is stretched out by the Aga, happily curled up in the warmth.

When little itchy patches pop up on her tummy, her humans reach for the Holistic Hound Paw & Skin Soak. A relaxing soak helps calm her skin and leaves her ready for her next adventure.

Loyal and people-focused, Betty is never far from her humans. Whether she’s shadowing them around the house or keeping close company outdoors, being part of the pack is her greatest joy.

Luna (affectionately known as Looney) is a 7-year-old Bearded Collie x Irish Wolfhound with 40kg of opinions and an emotional range as wide as her stretches. She’s a walking contradiction, fiercely independent yet completely needy on her own terms.

She’s not one for toys. Luna prefers the company of her people, a good howl, and her signature musical yawns first thing in the morning. She might be selective with affection, but when she chooses you, she’s the ultimate sidekick, loyal, watchful, and never far from your side.

A run across the muddy paddock chasing swallows is her idea of bliss. When it comes time to clean up, her human swears by the Holistic Hound Grooming Bar. It lathers beautifully in the soap bag, catches the loose fluff, and works its way through Luna’s thick coat with ease. She’s left smelling divine, with a soft, fluffy coat.
