You may recall Chops, he was a Community Rehome from early September.
Due to his urgent situation and lack of a suitable home, Pound Pooches bought him into care.
He is subsequently been fostered in Wellington.

Chops has adapted well, but his past experiences and his new relocation have led to reactive behavior, which can be expected given the significant changes in his life.
Chops has commenced trust technique training with Cheryl from Cheryl Trust Practitioner NZ

Thank you Cheryl for taking Chops on board and big thank you to his foster family, as without you's none of this would be possible ❤️❤️

Looking for your new best friend , Vinnie has been waiting patiently since he came into care in April .

He would really love to find his new family to celebrate his 1st Christmas with 🎅 🎄

Meet - Vinnie 🐶
Breed - Husky/X
S*x - Male
Age - 11 months
He is Registered, Microchipped, Desexed,
Vaccinations done, flead and Wormed.

Vinnie is an outgoing and confident Boy who gets bored easily.
He is highly energetic, and if not given the opportunity to expel this energy, will become chaotic.
He loves running, playing games, training sessions (with snacks of course), chewing toys and other things he's not meant to.
He loves food and has clicked on that he needs to sit and wait to get his dinner each night.

He is highly intelligent, meaning he is a fast learner and can pick up new training in record speed, including sit, stay, bed, outside, waiting for meals, and toilet training.
However, this does mean he gets bored quickly and when put him to bed before he is ready, he develops an alternate personality where he becomes a Houdini and can escape his crate.

He is a warm-hearted dog who loves to have snuggles and will paw at you when he wants some extra attention.
Spending time with Vinnie is like spending time with your best friend; he will follow you through anything, make you laugh, and always knows when something isn't right.

He is happy to explore outside alone, but also has a tendency to become a shadow and follow you around the house, to ensure you are not going to do anything fun without him.

He's been going out on walks daily and is doing well meeting new people and Dogs on his walk, tho he can be little shy with some dogs.
Vinnie has not been tested with Cats .

Overall, Vinnie is a fun, loving, well-rounded dog who will keep you on your toes as he enters your life in his new role of your new best friend.
He will love you with all of his heart and make you smile and giggle each day.
He would suit a active home with someone who loves to jog and take him with them daily to burn off his Husky energy.

Meet Buddy 🐶 he's ready and waiting for his forever home and family, he really would love a home for Christmas 🎄

Buddy was found in Clive Square, noone came forward for him.
He's been fostered with his saviour that found him and even tho he would love to keep him he can't so Buddy is now awaiting his forever family - could it be your family?

Location - Napier

Breed - StaffordshireBull Terrier/X
Age - 14 months old
S*x - Male

While in foster Buddy has been Registered, Microchipped, Desexed, Vaccinated, flead and Wormed.

This vibrant chap is super playful, full of energy, and always a very happy chappy.
He absolutely loves going out in the car, on walks and being part of all the action.
He still needs some lead work with pulling.
He’s responsive to commands, he's been learning his puppy manners like sit & wait.
He will need someone patient and kind who can help guide him as he grows into the loveable Goofball he is .
In return, you’ll get endless cuddles, laughter, and a loyal friend who’ll brighten your life.
Buddy has been fostered with another Dog who is blind, he is very gentle with him.
Great with other Dogs just wants to play.
He's not been around Cats.
Very energetic & excited boy.
He's suitable for older children cause of his excitement, but he loves everybody.

This post was intended to celebrate Lucy's adoption, but unfortunately, it's not a celebration 😢
Lucy's foster mother and I dropped her off at her new home yesterday, and everything was going fine.
She had a new canine companion, and the family was taking the necessary precautions by keeping the dogs inside while an electrician was working.
After the electrician left, the family let the dogs outside to play in their secure area.
However, the electrician returned and left the side gate open.
Lucy, being new to her surroundings, attempted to find her foster mother and tragically got hit by a car, resulting in her instant passing 😥.

This incident was a clear case of negligence on the part of the electrician, who was aware of the new dog and the situation.
It is imperative to question why he irresponsibly left the gate open, as it only takes a minute to shut it and ensure everyone's safety.
His negligence has resulted in immense heartbreak for Lucy's new family, Foster mum Stefanie Preuss and myself it also has deprived Lucy of the life she so deserved. 😢

RIP Lucy ❤️ Rest well .Still can't believe you're gone, you may be out of our sight, but you'll always be in our heart♥️

Lucky dog,

He is great around other animals and has been
living with 2 other dogs and 2 Cats
He gets on very well with them all, he plays with all of them.

Trevor had a sleepover at a farm, he was great with the lambs, who he thought
were part of the family.
He is a very sweet dog, he would fit in anywhere.

As much as I love being with my Foster Family I really would like to find my own forever home.
Perhaps it could be yours? I would love that very much 🥰

Awesome news Benji is starting to settle in with the Cat , so he's able to stay where he is 🥳

Benji is needing a forever or foster home asap.

Could you be part of Benji's journey.

Benji got his freedom ride from the Pound yesterday after 4 weeks in the Pound & really doesn't want to go back.

He had his vet appointment to have his Nuerter and Vaccination so that's all done.

His foster family have a cat which he wants to chase, no aggression, the Family and Cat aren't coping so he is in need of another foster or forever home asap.

He's a energetic but very friendly loving Boy, who would thrive with a playmate .
He will need some training but likes to please.
Suited to a family with older children & no cats.

From his foster Mum
Hes a sweet heart, and knows basic commands, but the chasing has scared our cat away, he is very playful and loving and cuddly. Also a real character, and clumsy.

All his care & needs will be met, and your love and support would make a significant impact. Can you provide a temporary haven for him ?
