‼️URGENT‼️VINNIE IS NEEDING ANOTHER FOSTER OR A FOREVER HOME BY THIS SUNDAY.

Vinnie has been in foster with his brother since they were 4 months old , his brother has found a home and Vinnie's still waiting for his.
His present foster home love him but as their hours have changed at work they don't have the time to give him .

Please, if you can open your heart and home.

Vinnie is a 10 month old, Male, Husky/X .
He's due now for Desexing which I'll book him in asap. He's Registered, Microchipped, Vaccinations done.

Community rehome for Ares 🐶

We have not met Ares but have been asked to help find him a new home and family.
Location: Hastings

Age - 11 months almost 1 year
S*x - Male
Breed - Staffy /X

He is Registered in Hastings, Microchipped, Desexed, Vaccinated, Flead and Wormed.

Bio -
- Food aggressive
- Male dog aggressive fine with older females
- Good on lead will pull occasionally
- Sits on command
- Loves human attention
- Toilet trained if he has access to outdoors

Ares is a pound rescue from Tokoroa.
He is a brindle staffy cross at approximately 11 months old.
Currently he's about 25kgs.

He would best be suited to a house with no other animals or with an older female dog with someone who is home a lot and has time to walk him for an hour a day minimum.
Ares is a great human companion dog but has developed dog aggression especially towards male dogs.
He has a sister who he is okay with but 2 brothers that he will fight if he can get close enough to.
He is food aggressive towards any other animals but will sit and wait for his food from his owner.
Ares is a big baby while on his own and just wants to cuddle all the time.
He is easy to train, he is treat trained but this cannot be done around other dogs.
Ares is crate trained and toilet trained but may eat beds if he’s caged inside for long periods of time without toys.
He also is used to having constant access to the backyard to go toilet so would need constant access or will have accidents inside. If leaving him home alone for long periods of time he would need to be kept outside as he is displaying destructive behaviours.
He is okay on leads but will pull for the first 5-10 minutes then randomly if he wants something but this behaviour could be trained out of him, for majority of the walk he will check to see if you are okay, he is trained to wait at cross walks and will release on go.

Overall Ares is a great dog and companion but needs a home with no other animals or just an established female dog older than him and someone who has the time and patience to train him.

Meet Malo 🐶 she is originally came into care when she was 5/6 weeks old, she's been in foster loving life but now it's her turn to find her forever familyz- could it be your family?

Malo is an 8-week-old, staffy mix with a heart full of curiosity and cuddles.
She is Registered, Microchipped, 1st Vaccination done, flead and Wormed.

This little lady is crate training, is attending puppy preschool, and is working on her “sit” and “down” commands.

She’s been thriving in a lively household with an 11-year-old child and three medium to large breed dogs, so she’s no stranger to busy environments and playful pack dynamics.
Malo is incredibly food motivated, which makes her a dream to train—she’ll do just about anything for a tasty treat!

Whether she’s chasing toys or soaking up the sun in a cozy nap spot, Malo brings joy and balance to every moment.
She’d love a home that can continue her training journey, offer plenty of playtime, and maybe even a furry sibling or two.

Yesterday we welcomed 5 month old Riley into care , he was from the Napier Pound.
He's settling great into his foster home .
He's booked in for his Desex on Monday.

Community rehome for Scooby-Doo 🐶

We have not met Scooby-Doo but have been asked to help find her a new home and family.
Location: Hawkes Bay.

Meet - Scooby-Doo aka Scoob 🐶
S*x - Female
Breed - Mixed Breed (Ridgeback/Pitbull/X maybe)
Age - 5 years
She is Desexed, Vaccinated, Flead & Wormed.

Bio - Scoob is very energetic, loyal, cuddly, good listener and loves the outdoors.
She can take a bit to warm to newer people so can sometimes come across intimidating, once she knows you she is your best friend.

She’s great with other animals loves to play. She is very good with children and is careful and playful.
She’s good out on walks still abit of a tugger but great off the lead too, she had shown aggression when she was younger towards other animals but is now really good.
She is the typical good guard dog if she is not sure who’s on the other side of the fence.
She is toilet trained. 🐶

Reason for Rehoming - Her owners are having to relocate & can't take her with them.

Pound Pooches is overjoyed to welcome Rosie, Molly & Lucy into care.
These 3 lovely pups have left the Pound Registered and micro-chipped, they have been given a clean bill of health after their Vets check over, Vaccinations, Flea and worm, and are now settling into their foster homes.
They will be available for adoption soon.

Huge thanks to all the incredible foster families who selflessly open their hearts & homes to all these adorable fur babies, without you rescue wouldn't be possible 🐾💕

Meet Titan 🐶 he is originally from the Napier Pound , he's been in foster loving life but now it's his turn to find his forever familyz- could it be your family?

Age - 11 Weeks old

He is Registered, Microchipped, 1st
Vaccination done, flead and Wormed.

Titan is a beautiful young pup with a gentle nature and a curious spirit.
He loves cuddles being picked up, loves to cuddle into you when he is on the couch or in bed.
He is great with food now and eating with the other Dogs perfectly.
He is very quiet little boy he only barks when he is very excited.
He knows when im coming home he sits at the door patiently waiting.
He waits he sits and is patient at dinner time, he likes to sit at his bowl.
He is very intelligent learns quick and is pretty independant loves to hang around people and watch
He is learning to go to the toilet out side .
He is very gentle, he licks instead of bitting but loves to get your attention by grabbing your shoes or pants 🤣
Titan will make a loyal, loving companion for a family who can give him the time, care, and affection he deserves.

Meet Rose 🐶
She's a 2yr old Labrador/Mastiff/X

She is Desexed, Vaccinated, Microchipped & Registered

Currently she's been in a foster home since April and she is now ready to find her forever home.

Rose is house trained, will ask to go outside.
At bedtime say "toilet time" she will go to the door, then sleeps inside in her crate, she is fully crate trained.
Rose takes direction very well is keen to please, she knows Sit, Wait, Away you go, Nicely, and Toilet time.
She still has puppy behaviours, over excitement, jumping, and mouthing just needs a little more training and a confident leader. She is a big dog so needs and loves to go for runs and walks, off leash she has excellent recall.
Rose has a beautiful nature in her foster home, she has 2 small dogs she just wants to play with, weather they do or not, when they tell her off she just turns her face away.
Has not been around cats and has not been around children in her foster home but in her previous home was around older Children.
Rose can be feed by hand just say " Nicely" and will let foster sisters be feed first, she doses love food and will eat anything!
Rose is Cheeky and likes to talk, loves rope tug, runs, walks, car rides, chew toys, has a blanky she chews and sucks, and loves to curl up close in the evenings.
Fears- loud noises, loud winds, sudden movements, so really needs to be an inside dog

If you’re looking for a well-behaved, loving companion who just wants to be part of your life, Rose is ready to meet you!

Little Malo is being fostered by one of our team members, via Pound Pooches Hawkes Bay and was lucky enough to take part in Puppy Preschool last night, where she learnt to "Sit".
