Kelly worked in education for over 25 years in the primary, tertiary and early childhood sectors but her true passion was always dogs. An opportunity came at the right time to attend training on how to groom dogs and it all started from there. Research online and in the community told her there was a real shortage of groomers all over New Zealand and people were struggling to get appointments so s

he thought she could surely help. Spending her weekends with a local groomer allowed her to develop her skills and prepare to launch on her own. Kelly realised that working with dogs can in part be just like working with children! They each have their own personalities, abilities, backgrounds, quirks and behaviours and it is all about getting to know the individual and bringing the family into the experience too. When asked by friends and family about the big change in career Kelly says “I Just Love Dogs"! Just Love Dogs provides washing and grooming services to your dog in a friendly, calm and welcoming environment for both the dog and the owner. Services include Wash and Dry, Nail clipping, Ear cleaning, Teeth brushing, Clipping, De-shedding.
