On the lookout 👀

I will be competing in groomwars this year and am looking for the perfect pooch to compete with. 🏅🏆

I will be so grateful to anyone who can help and lend me their dog for the weekend of 3-5th October.

What i am looking for :

- Pure bred poodle
- Must be a confident happy dog
- Obviously we'll behaved for the groom 😅
- Good coat condition 👌
- Someone willing to keep the dog in a full coat for the next few months
- All maintenance and prep grooming will be free of charge untill after the event. (Once a fortnight bath and brush-out to get that fur growing)

I have been off work spending time with Family after the loss of my Nana.
It will be very busy catching up for the rest of the week and I will be getting back to everybody as soon as I can.

Meet my boy, Snoop Dogg — our rescue pup who’s been part of the family for a year and a half now. Grooming has never been his favorite thing (understatement of the year), and let’s just say he's put me to the test more than once!

But with patience, time, and a lot of love, we’ve built trust. His haircut might not be perfect, but it means everything to see him feeling more confident and comfortable in his own skin.

This is why I do what I do. Every dog deserves care, respect, and someone who puts their well-being first — even if it takes time and baby steps. I will always do my best for your dog, no matter where they are on their grooming journey. Sometimes, it’s not about the haircut — it’s about helping them feel safe again.

Upcoming Price Adjustment for Larger Breed Dogs

Dear Valued Customers,

Starting April 1st, there will be a price adjustment for medium, large, X-large, and giant breed dogs due to rising operational costs. I appreciate your understanding and continued support as I strive to provide the best care for your pets.

There will also be a change in price on some of the walk in/add on services, such as, nail trims and ear plucking.

Trying to get a photo of Emma, but she's too happy to stay still 🤣

Emma has been coming in for grooming since she was a (smaller) puppy, she is still young and yet to grow into full adult coat but coming in regularly from such a young age has helped so much! Now she willingly jumps into the bath, and jumps on the table on command. She has no trouble with the noise of the dryer, her nails being filed, paw pads clipped etc and she gets the zoomies when we are done 😍

This means Emma's grooming appointments will be stress-free for the rest of her life. (For me and most importantly for Emma 😅)

Dogs need to learn and be taught into the grooming process.

Be like Emma's mom and start your dogs grooming appointments when they are young.

We have been so busy at the shop with help from Megan over the summer (not so summer 😅) months.
She will be returning to her vet nursing studies soon and I will be reducing the number of dogs booked in per day.

My focus in the shop is quality over quantity.

This means that TIME is taken on each dog to ensure the process is stress-free, thorough and done to the highest quality. As I am tending to the dogs and also to reception, retail and the phone Please allow 2-3 hours for your appointment times.
Arriving early for pick-up creates sudden excitement for your dog on the table and I have to wait for them to become calm enough again to continue the grooming.

Excited dog + sharp equipment = Risky buisness 😬
