Askur‘s progress has been slow but steady. His groundwork is pretty solid now and he is comfortable with all the gear 🥳 next step is hopping on 🤩 can’t wait ❤️ he is such a cool curious but sensitive dude. Very nice to work with 🙏🏼

I‘m so sorry, Ösp. I didn’t want any of this. It never even crossed my mind that this could be a possibility. You made it through a long difficult birth. The beautiful little chestnut c**t with a big white blaze was in the wrong position and dead well before we finally managed to get him out. You were exhausted but hanging in there so I could drive you to the clinic. You had all the attention you needed and everyone did everything they could to save you. But it wasn’t enough. The exhaustion and the internal bleeding were too severe.
I‘m so sorry it had to be this way. You and your baby didn’t deserve this. Now I have put you both to rest together at your favorite spot on top of the hill with a nice view of the Bombay hills. The least I could do for you ❤️ Tölt wild and free 🙏🏼

I had a great time at Christchurch Icelandic Horse Treks participating in all competition with Silke on horses I ride once or twice a year. Hopping on, doing a short warm up and riding a competition really tests your riding skills and reaction skills. The test situation and dealing with your inner tension doesn’t help but it is a great way to learn. I‘m looking forward to continued and consistent learning together with everyone else ❤️🙌🏼 and I can highly recommend to ride many different horses 👏🏼🐴

I‘m very please with the development of my stallion Askur from Litli Stadur - 3 years old. He has grown some nice long legs and I’m very happy with his overall conformation - see photo of Harry and Askur in comparison (Askur on the right). His character is sensitive, independent and polite and his preferred gait in the paddock is Tölt. He will get trained from the ground the next 2 months before he will serve my mare Ösp the first time. Exciting times, so watch this space 🐴❤️
