As retirement looms, it becomes apparent that it is impossible to keep this busy lifestyle going. It is now my aim to become the best and biggest shop in New Zealand selling home created products made from horse shoes. The first print is almost sold out, so be quick to get hold of probably the only book of its kind in New Zealand. Not to forget are the numerous necklaces for sale, made from horse shoe nails.

Frans Jansen Farrier is still open for business: shoeing and trimming your horse. As I will be nearing retirement, I willnot be taking on any new clients sorry.

Instead of doing nothing, my next aim is to have the biggest shop in New Zealand selling homemade horse shoe products. I think there are around fifty different items in my catalogue so far, the target is to reach a hundred.

Besides the horse shoe gadgets and signs, there are still a lot more pendants and necklaces to make from horse shoe nails. They just seem to become more popular.

In my spare time I like to write my second book as a follow up from Of Horses and Men. The more than positive feedback is a good motivation to start again.
There are still a few copies left so be quick to get your Christmas presents early.
