Wexford Weekly - 17/11 🏇 The past week saw two more names added to the Wexford winner’s whiteboard!
L’AIGLE NOIR delivered on the promise he’s shown at home, with a smart fresh-up win at Arawa Park on Sunday. He’s a horse the team believe is up to stakes company, and it might not be long before he’s lining up in those better 3YO races. CRACKERCOL continued his rise, bringing back-to-back wins for owner Jill Devine. Both boys have pulled up safe and well.
We also had several pleasing performances over the weekend. YAMATO SATONA put in another top effort, finishing 2nd in the 3YO contest at Tauranga, following a short break from racing. He’s right on target for bigger things next month. OPHOPE WINS and GENKI were both flashing home at Arawa Park on debut. Both are bred to excel over longer distances, so seeing them show a good turn of foot over shorter trips was encouraging.
On Thursday, the team headed to the Ready To Run Sales. We secured four standout types – three horses syndicated for the barn, and a fourth on behalf of our Hong Kong-based clients. Heading to Wexford, we have our Ardrossan filly, El Roca filly, and Xtravagant gelding. A big thank you to everyone who showed interest – it was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces joining us! With syndicates filling within a matter of hours, we did have a number of people who missed out however. The team will be purchasing once again at the Karaka Yearling Sales, and we strongly recommend registering your interest early – we're not doing the hard sell when we say these horses syndicate FAST.

The team also had a good day at the Avondale trials on Thursday. HANKEE ALPHA and PEERLESS are right on track for a promising summer, while IVY’S DANCER is a maiden you can follow with a bit of confidence.
The racing only gets better from here team. Let's bring it on!
