What makes Bare Paw Essentials canine skincare different to any other brand that uses similar ingredients?
Well, it isn’t just one thing.
Long before there were labels, tins, or a business, there was just me making this for the ones I love most. I’ve been using this same formula on my own dogs, myself, and my children long before I ever decided to share it with anyone else. I wanted to know it, trust it, and believe in it before asking someone else to do the same.
My process has never been about speed.
From respectfully gathering my rongoā Māori, to carefully drying it, to my triple infusion method, every step takes time. I don’t just infuse my oils once, I repeat the process several times because I believe it helps create a richer, more potent infusion and preserves as much of kawakawa’s natural goodness as possible.
But that’s only part of the story.
I believe that whenever someone creates something, they leave a little piece of themselves in it. An author pours themselves into their words. A chef into their food. A musician into their songs. A teacher into every lesson they share.
I don’t think I’m any different 🤷♀️
When I’m making my skincare or raw food too for that matter, my kitchen is peaceful. Worship music fills the room 🙌
I don’t make my products when I’m stressed, overwhelmed, or angry. I wait until I’m in a place of peace because I genuinely believe the energy and intention we create with matters.
Some people might think that’s a little strange.
Some might not believe it makes any difference.
And that’s ok👌
For me though, it means everything.
Every product that leaves my kitchen has been made slowly, prayerfully, and with love.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way 🫶
