Although it’s tempting to keep your pet wild and woolly over the cooler months, ☔️
always remember - the longer you leave it, the shorter we’ll have to take it come spring. And we don’t like “making ‘em naked!” while it’s still chilly 🥶 We can keep the coat a bit longer with regular grooming ✂️ and the matts at bay.

Introducing the “Loafie “ range of dog coats and mats now instore!
You may have seen Abbey at the craft fairs and markets displaying her products for dogs and we’re delighted to be offering them at the salon.
Every dog is different, and while there is a range of sizes available, Abbey will custom-make a lovely snug fully-lined coat to your dog’s requirements for the perfect fit!

Due to the sad and sudden passing of her mum, Leo is looking for her new forever home. If you’re looking for a lovely alert little companion who is past the puppy stage, please let Michael know at Ladymead.

UPDATE: It looks like Leo has found a new home.

This is Leo. She is a 4.5 year old Maltese x shih tzu. She is now looking for a new home due to her owner unfortunately passing away. Will only to go to an approved home. Please contact Jacqui (the owners daughter) on 0279576939 with any inquiries.

🐶We will be opening at Level 3 on Wednesday 1st September following strict contactless protocols for everyone’s protection. I am currently rebooking two weeks of missed appointments and we thank everyone for bearing with us while we catch up.

To all our customers: we are currently closed during Level 4 Lockdown and playing the waiting game as to when we can open again under Level 3 restrictions.
Rest assured if you’ve missed your appointment over the lockdown days, you’ll be rescheduled just as soon as we have clarity going forward and a definite “return-to-work” date.

Ok here’s our new way if checking in through Level 3 with a small/medium dog.
Customer arrives at the agreed time and we have the trolley waiting outside the door while we stand at the appropriate distance inside.

Customer puts their dog/s safely into the trolley either through the side door or the top flap which opens up.

Customer stands back while we pull the trolley into the salon and attend to the dog.

When customer returns after being notified their pet is ready the trolley will be wheeled out complete with pampered pooch and the eftpos machine and hand sanitiser on top!

All done ✅ using the protocols required. Customer has not entered to premises, social distancing has been observed and contactless payment offered.
