A very quiet day of racing action for the Little Avondale tracked runners, with Otaki being postponed until Tuesday and several scratchings due to track conditions - including one of Sam’s Friday tips - Castillian (at Sunshine Coast).

Big LA interest at Wyong with our homebred and owned filly by Per Incanto, Miss Trentino racing over 1000m in race 2 for Bjorn Baker Racing. Miss Trentino was super impressive winning a trial on the 23rd June at Canterbury. All the very best to our “Miss Trentino” syndicate!

Te Rapa features two winning Time Test fillies. The Mouse Williams bred and sold Quick Fire (x Lutine Belle)has already won 5 and should relish the heavy 10 track being a 2x winner from 3 starts on a heavy track. Last start winner Lotus (x Fiorenza) also has won on a heavy track at Te Rapa.

There’s a couple of good chances in Australia. LA born, bred, reared and sold Eye Pea Oh (Capitialist x Tie Me Down) is in Race 1 at SCRC. Fellow LA graduate Per Sempre (Per Incanto x Confidante) is in Race 7 at Wangaratta.

LITTLE BROSE close relation wins the LISTED 2YO David Peacock Oakland’s Plate over 1400m at Morphettville!

Matahga (Tivaci x Mohegan Star) was impressive winning two weeks at just his 2nd start and today’s win was even more impressive.

Leading trainer Philip Stokes had earmarked a stakes assignment for 2-year-old Matahga and those plans came to fruition.

A $80,000 purchase from the 2024 NZB Karaka Book 1 Sale, Matahga is the 1st foal of an unraced Reliable Man half-sister to Little Brose.

Very nice win by LA born and reared graduate Rolling Magic at Rosehill today.

This 4YO son of Per Incanto x Not A Jaffa was bred and partly sold by John and Elizabeth Anderson of Taihape through the Sledmere Stud draft at Melbourne Premier Sale in 2022.

Congratulations to his breeders, ownership group and trainers, Richard and Will Freedman

Rolling Magic (NZ) (Per Incanto) kicked off proceedings at Rosehill with a strong win for trainers Richard and Will Freedman, guided to victory by jockey Joshua Parr. The consistent gelding has now recorded four wins from 11 starts in Australia. Bred by John Anderson, the son of Per Incanto continues to impress.

After an action packed week with Per Incanto hitting the headlines once again with his sale topping weanling at the National Weanling sales, it’s Saturday again and that means racing 🏇!

The winterless North meeting at Ruakaka features several top chances for Per Incanto and Time Test . Sam’s tip of the week is in race 5 – Vieni Su (Per Incanto x Sans Souci). Vieni Su was very impressive last start winning at Ellerslie and should be right amongst it tomorrow. All the best to her breeder and owner and great Per Incanto supporter, Daniel Nakhle!

Little Brose’s close relation Matahga (Tivaci x Mohegan Star - from Mohegan Sky) lines up in the Listed Oaklands Park Plate at Morphettville. This 2yo C**t was very impressive winning at just his 2nd start on the 14th June and trainer Phillip Stokes has him ready for this stakes assignment.
