Do you want a summer filled with fun, horses and yearling sales at one of the oldest Thoroughbred Studs in NZ🐴?

If you are hardworking, fit, horsey and love to be part of a team we are looking for another team member to join our Yearling Preparation team.

Hours are full time 6am - 5pm Monday to Friday and every second weekend for weekend hours. Single Accommodation is available on site if required.

Start date can be immediate and is fixed term until February 2026.

🎉 A new 2YO stakes winner for PER INCANTO🔥

Eurocanto (Per Incanto x Shespending) stormed home down the Flemington straight to win the LISTED Maribyrnong Plate.

This striking 2YO c**t was on debut for the team at Lindsay Park Racing.

Jimmysstar has his final prep for The Everest on October 18th today at Randwick in the Gr.2 Premiere Stakes on another SUPER Saturday of racing action🏇

Jimmysstar takes his place in a field of 7, drawn 7 and we are expecting a great showing from him prior to the Everest. All the best of luck to Group 1 Bloodstock, Ciaron Maher Racing, Pete and Chrissie Algie and all the connections. Jimmy is certainly taking us all on a fantastic ride!

Today, we sadly said farewell to Rahul. Rara has been with us since November 2022 and has been a fantastic addition to Team LA. Someone who is always willing to go the extra mile, always smiling, a fantastic horseman and a very hard worker.

We have loved having you on our team and will miss you heaps! All the best for your new job in Auckland and hope to see you at the sales!

Evaporate wins the Gr.3 Sandown Stakes! 🏆

This 4YO gelding by Per Incanto was perfectly ridden by Blake Shinn and held on for a tough win by a nose.

Bred and still part owned by LA, Evaporate is trained by Ben, Will and JD Hayes.

Congratulations to our “She’s All That” racing syndicate with their filly winning Race 7 - the Amore Roses 65k 1200m at Te Rapa.

She’s All That (Time Test x Imadreamer 4yo mare) was given a beautiful run by Masa Hashizume and was very tough to the line to take the win.

Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott of Wexford Stables had She’s All That in beautiful condition for her debut run as a 4YO.

Well done to Wexford, Masa and all our owners!

After an action packed night at Moonee Valley, Group racing is back with top action at Rosehill, Sandown and Te Rapa 🏇

Sandown features the LA born, reared and partly sold graduate Evaporate (Per Incanto x Savanna)in the Gr.3 Sandown Stakes at Caulfield. Evaporate had a very impressive 3YO season with wins in the Gr.2 Stutt Stakes, Gr.3 Carbine Club and 2nd in the NZB Kiwi. Lindsay Park have him primed and ready to go for this assignment. Best of luck to our fellow owners and Ben, Will and JD Hayes.

Rosehill features another star Per Incanto gelding, the Gr.1 winning Gringotts! Gringotts (x Miss Bluebell) is currently 2nd favourite in the Gr.2 Shannon Stakes. Best of luck to his breeders, Dirk and Nicci Oberholster, trainer Ciaron Maher and all the owners.

Te Rapa sees the return of the LA Syndicated mare, She’s All That. She’s All That delighted her large syndicate with a win and a couple of placings in her first preparation and we are expecting a good return to the races for her. We hope many of our syndicate are on course and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of the Waikato RC and the thrill of horse ownership!
