🌳 Mid-week we were at Sally & Richard Hogg's Mingaroa Farm in Halcombe, helping tidy up fence lines ahead of winter grazing.

With there team member Andrew keeping busy on the tractor, we cut and cleared fallen poplar trees that had come down across the fences. Once the trees were removed, we dragged the wires out of the grass and re-strained them, getting everything back in shape and ready for the cows this winter. 🚜🐄

Meanwhile, Rosie was hard at work on pest control duties! We quickly lost count of the number of possums she accounted for, and it's fair to say she slept very well that night. 🐕🎯

Another productive day on the farm and great to help keep things running smoothly heading into the colder months. 👍🌿

🌱 On Tuesday we were over at Pine Park Produce dismantling 2 raised vegetable gardens and building 2 new ones, ready for more fresh veges to be planted. 🪴

A great day working for Kirsty and Ed Sherriff getting everything refreshed and set up for the next round of planting.

Looking forward to being back soon to build more!

Was a big day all round! 🙌

Taonui School Cross Country supporting Ben and Harrison — awesome effort from both boys. 🏃‍♂️💨
Ben finished 5th in his race and Harrison came home with an impressive 3rd place! Super proud of them both. 👏

After cross country, I headed over to help Emma finish spraying all the gorse at Doug Glasgow’s property. 🌿🚜
That job is now wrapped up and we’re moving on to tackle his brother’s farm next.

To finish off the day, Ivy Lane Everest had an awesome ride — ticking off her very first trot and confidently tackling some steep hills. Great way to finish off another big week!! 🐴✨

Back to Turakina Tommorrow for our third day of spraying scattered gorse with the knapsack sprayers for Emma and I 💪

We can be hired to run both your farm spray unit or our knapsacks, individually or as a team!

The last couple of weeks we've been keeping this farmers 2 blocks ticking over while they've been away.

✅️Rams drafted out of the ewes
✅️Lambs drenched
✅️Steers in for drafting store lines
✅️Loading trucks
✅️Shifting stock
✅️Lawns mowed
✅️Dogs run and fed - and kept entertained by there pet dog Tim!

Mammoth 🦣 effort from the A Team Emma Haughey, Douglas Ngatai and myself 💪

We were given the task of knocking into shape the entrance and driveway to PGG Wrightson Seed and Grain at Mt Stewart

🔨Fences mended and battens straightened by super woman
✂️Long grass knocked into shape with the w**d eaters
🌱Mowers run over the accessible areas

With hours spent on the tools all I can say is wow 👌👏😍, we've delivered the outcome we were tasked with and some ✅️

Mt Stewart is also now going to be part of our regular scheduled maintenance 🏆
