When was the last time you paused and made space to connect with yourself on an unconscious level?

Breathwork sessions are a beautiful way to offer ourselves the space for this.
Breathwork sessions are a chance to connect with your inner self, to find a place of calm and balance, and they allow you the quiet insight to feel what you need to integrate from the rest of the session 🧘🏽‍♀️

We are very lucky to have the wonderful Briar Moffat from Whare Kōtare joining us for our next Full Moon Ceremony, to guide us through some gentle breathwork, offering you the opportunity to check in with yourself and take a moment to pause and reflect.
The session will be focused on simple breath techniques that you can keep with you to use as needed in your daily life 🌬️

New to breathwork? Perfect, most of those who join us for our Full Moon Ceremonies are experiencing something new for the first time, and Briar is an experienced facilitator who will gently guide you through this journey 💗

🌸Women’s Weekly Kōrero🌸

This is our weekly gathering for wahine from all walks of life to come together to connect, share, support and uplift one another as we navigate all of life’s wonderful and challenging experiences. It’s an opportunity to focus on your mental and physical health, as you walk our joyful miniature horses along the the stunning Waikawa coastline, the perfect way to reconnect with yourself and each other 🌊 🐎

🤸‍♀️Teen Empowerment Workshop🤸‍♀️

This is the perfect workshop for your teen who is needing some extra support to navigate the sometimes treacherous mind field of those teenage years. Horses can offer us an honest and raw look into ourselves, and they are a place of quiet acceptance without judgement. We have curated these workshops to facilitate the development of self confidence, self awareness and positive personal growth in a safe and supportive environment.

-Perfect for both experienced horsey kids and those that have no prior experience.

🌿 Join us at Empower Equine Connections for a serene experience designed especially for our senior community members. Spend 45 peaceful minutes connecting with our gentle horses and the calming nature around us. It’s a time to unwind, reflect, and build meaningful connections with others in a tranquil setting.

(Please note, we currently do not have bathroom facilities available, and the area is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility aids.)

What is the Equinox?

🌗The Equinox occurs when the Sun is directly above the equator, resulting in nearly equal daylight and nighttime hours across the globe.
This happens twice a year, in March and September.

🍂It marks the transition from summer to autumn and is a powerful time for balance, reflection, and transformation.

Many cultures and traditions celebrate the Equinox as a time of renewal and rebalance.
In the Southern Hemisphere, the March Equinox is about letting go, harvesting wisdom, and preparing for the introspective energy of the cooler months, making it the perfect time for setting new intentions, practicing grounding rituals and connecting with nature 🐴💞

Join us for a blissful evening of gentle mindfulness practices with our horses, breath work with our special guest, Briar Moffat, and a Cacao Ceremony to reset your inner peace and prepare you for the changing seasons.

🎨👩‍🎨🐴 Equine Expressions: Painting with Ponies

You’ve heard of Sip and Paint right? Well this is our version! 🎨🐎
Come along and enjoy a gentle meet and greet with our small, friendly horses (you can get as close or not as you like), then get creative and unleash your inner Picasso on canvas as you paint your very own horse-themed masterpiece to take home.

We have the option of free-hand painting - for the seasoned or brave artists out there, or you can choose to use one of our equestrian themed stencils to give yourself a little more direction, then you can let your creativity flow as you bring your artwork to life 🧑‍🎨

🎨When: Saturday 1st March, 10am-12pm
🎨Where: 593 Waikawa beach road, Waikawa (halfway between Otaki and Levin)
🎨Cost: $79 per person (welcome drink included)

Welcome to 2025!!
Our January Full Moon Ceremony is just around the corner and is the perfect way to clear out what no longer serves you and set your intentions for the year ahead!
We are based at Waikawa beach and our next ceremony is on Tuesday 14th Jan, 6.30-8.30pm.

Whether you have previous experience with horses or not, our Full Moon Ceremony is perfectly crafted to guide you through your journey of reflection and discovery, with our gentle horses quietly offering their calm energy, wisdom and if needed, a soft shoulder to lean on.

Our ceremony incorporates a grounding, heart opening cacao ceremony and mindfulness practises with our horses, which includes the opportunity to explore what’s happening within yourself by following our guided journal prompts. You also have the chance to discover the guidance offered by our equine archetypes oracle cards, or you are welcome to simply see what learnings are shared with you through connecting with our horses and each other.
We will finish the evening with a gentle yin yoga session, sending you home with not only a little more clarity, but also feeling relaxed and ready to take on whatever the next chapter may have in store.

Our Full Moon Ceremony is the perfect way to soothe and restore your peace and calm after the chaos of the silly season and an ideal moment of me time and self-care to ensure your cup is full as you head into whatever new adventures or challenges the new year may bring.
