The young horses investigating the tarp today, I had to run to get out of the paddock with it as Alonzo kept following and standing on it lol they were all trotting behind, so fun to watch!

Young horses having dental work done today, Whisper had wolf teeth come out and a cap and Estrella has a busy mouth with about 3 caps coming out but lucky for her no wolf teeth. Zorro will have canine teeth coming through to look forward too, apparently they come through between 5 and 7 years old. Hopefully they come through quickly. Top tip, apparently good old Bonjella helps with the pain. Thanks Amy from Fairlane Vets.

Estrella had her first trot steps under saddle today. We did just a little bit but she did so well considering all the distractions with the tractor going around and the fire burning on the other side.

Been doing a little bit with Estrella and Whisper lately, mostly this week, getting them used to wearing a saddle while doing groundwork, and have sat on them the last couple of days, had a little walk around with them today, just slowly letting them get used to me being up there and following the rein a little. I don’t like to ask to much for awhile these days, just build confidence and understanding. Definitely helps that they were born and raised here as they already have a reasonable amount of trust and are not concerned about anything I’m asking so far.

Seeking EOI for this lovely, elegant yearling filly, by Furst Hit EDH, registered with the NZ Hanoverian society (see picture of papers for breeding), EMH 16.1-16.2hh. Had basic handling and has had a cover on, couple of short videos on this page below. Will try to get some better pics/video.
