With the warmer weather just around the corner, it’s really important to keep your pet’s flea treatments up to date. Fleas love the heat and can spread quickly, causing discomfort for your pets and headaches for you.
When your pet comes in for grooming, we want them to feel their very best. Staying on top of regular flea prevention helps keep their coat healthy, their skin comfortable, and makes grooming a much nicer experience for them.

My journey 🥰

In August 2023, my life took a major turn. I became a single mum to two amazing kids (now 7 and 10), and like many big changes, it came with uncertainty, fear — and a spark of determination.

In February 2024, I took a leap of faith and started Dapper Dogs Grooming from my garage in Lepperton. No financial backing. No partner to lean on. Just my two hands, my experience, and a deep love for dogs.

It hasn’t been easy, but today I’m proud to say that this little grooming business now fully supports me and my children. That is something I will never take for granted.

While I may not have the flashiest salon or glossy setup like others around, I bring something just as valuable — years of hands-on experience, compassion, and professional care. I'm a qualified Veterinary Nurse, ran my own rural dog daycare for 4 years, and was a trusted dog trainer for Hearing Dogs NZ.

To my loyal clients and every new face that walks through my garage doors — thank you. You’ve given me more than just bookings. You’ve given my family stability, independence, and a future.
