After drought like conditions for most in northland plus fires, fire bans and water restrictions the heaven have finally opened up for us.
The boys are happy warm and dry with lots of hay in the yards and me in the house :)

Our Cabin is looking good for those wanting to stay with us this summer. We have a Cabin with 1 double room and a bunk room suitable for 4 guests. Outside there is a nice deck with mountain views and hot tub. Cabin comes with basics like tea, coffee, filtered cold-water, full-size fridge, dining table, small oven, outdoor table and outdoor fire etc...

Dream Weavers Farm has many animals such as Horses, friendly goats, cooks and lots of lambs at the moment.

Camping is next to our beautiful river it is very peaceful with river and native bush and pasture views and there are a few nice waterholes to enjoy. Plus, the wonderful sunset views in the evenings. We offer camping for self-contained campers.

Pets are welcome although dogs in particular have to be kept on a lead at the moment due to our lambing season.

Hemi a few months ago so sad and lame. Today he is well taking part in his own remedy a wee old man's wade style hydrotherapy and an ex foliation roll special ha ha

Amazing what his new diet and natural remedies and low impact walks have done for his arthritis. He was on three legs a few months ago with arthritic pain.

Following our dental treatments Carlos is back to finishing his feeds first again. Amazing how it changes everything for the better quickly. Everyone is much happier and getting ready for the coming season. Antoinio our most sensitive horse has the smallest mouth and being sensitive he tends to pack his mouth with grass on the sides at slightest signs of sharpness. Our wee Kai guy is old enough to be done once a year these days. Young horses need teeth floated every 6 months until about 5 years. It's alot but worth while in so many ways.

Big day with the horses annual dental treatment yesterday here on the farm. Poor Carlos had sharp points in his back teeth. He will be able to eat better now and it will help with gaining his topline again. Plus he will be back on track at home with our routine annual treatments. Antionio was a bit of a drama queen for a minute or two and Shadow took it in his stride. Kaimanawas are always so easy going :)

Shadow Dancer my once wild kaimanawa pony is coming on nicely learning some more intense liberty this year and finally coming to a good age to do more.
