Day 1 – Let’s Go!
We’re officially underway at the 2025 NZPCA Conference here in Christchurch!

This morning kicked off with coffee & connections at 8:30am before diving into the NZPCA Strategic Review, Quiz intro, and a full day of inspiring workshops and updates across Education, Health & Safety, Riders' Voice, Concussion, and more.

Whether you’re here in the Great Hall or joining smaller breakout sessions, today’s all about sharing ideas, sparking action, and strengthening Pony Club from the ground up.

Look out for highlights from the sessions and tonight’s Awards Dinner – Sneakers & Sparkles!

Exciting delivery on this wet and drizzly day at Kaukapakapa Pony Club...Seven brand new XC jumps being delivered. A range of jump heights from 65cm to 80cm. They will make a wonderful addition to our growing inventory of XC jumps for our PC members to use. They will also be available for Key holders. Get in touch with us if you would be interested in becoming a member or a key holder to make regular use of our lovely grounds and XC when we reopen next season.
Big thanks to Havard Daniels for braving the weather on his tractor to help unload.

Winter Rest
The gates now close, the ponies rest,
As winter wraps us in her vest.
The rain will fall, the winds will sigh,
And hoofprints fade as months go by.

But seasons turn, the sun returns,
And with it come our riding yearns.
When days grow long and skies are clear,
The joy of riding will reappear.

So let the fields have time to mend,
This pause is not a bitter end—
For when the earth is firm and dry,
We'll saddle up beneath blue sky.

Until then, wait, and dream anew,
The grounds will open—just for you.
