This weekend was truly unforgettable as we attended our first Tosca’s show (The Oriental Shorthair Cat Association) in Kumeu, where Coastal-Catz made its mark with Cruzy Jimmy and his son The Legend of Koa shining bright in the entire kitten and cat classes.
While Cruzy Jimmy secured a remarkable top 10 placing, Koa soared to new heights, winning Best in Show, Runner-up Best in Show, and a top 10 placing, as well as 2x Breeder Awards of merit. This outstanding achievement earned him the title of top entire kitten.
Koa then went on to compete against the Top Entire Cat, which tough for the judges, but he won. He was then re-judged for Supreme in Show. In a truly awe-inspiring moment, Koa, at just 5 months old and 2nd ever show, became Runner-up Supreme in Show, a testament to his exceptional quality. This remarkable recognition is a beacon of pride for our beloved breed of Toygers here in New Zealand, and we are deeply humbled by this amazing acknowledgment.
We were thrilled to receive incredible feedback from the Judges, fellow breeders, and the public, and are bursting with pride for our Toyger Team from Coastalcatz 🙌🐅.
