Sheidinice Kennels are a small breeding kennel in the township in New Zealand . All my ‘fur kids’ are members of my family first and formost with all being trained and successfully compete in the sport of Competition Dog Obedience and or Breed Showing. I pride myself on all my dogs having exceptional temperaments plus an eagerness & willingness to work. All my Border Collie breeding stock are DNA
tested by Orivet in Australia, which guarantees no puppy bred here will ever develop any of the vast terrible diseases that plagues Border Collies here in NZ, and all our beautiful Samoyeds are Hip & Elbow scored
All the pups I breed are registered with the DogzNZ ( formally New Zealand Kennel Club) on the restricted/pet register. The reason I do this and the reason the NZKC has this registration, is to help protect our beautiful breed from being sent to 'not so dog friendly countries' and to also stop unregistered 'Backyard Kennels' from breeding unregistered dogs. This procedure is designed not to put prospective puppy owners off, but to show that we take our breeding seriously and that even once they have left us and gone to their new loving family & homes, we always have their welfare in mind. Am happy to discuss with overseas people any puppy requirements they may have, except those from Asia, as Sheidinice Kennels DOES NOT support any exporting of dogs to Asian countries. I have owned Samoyeds now for over 25 years and Border Collies for 20 years and started breeding these lovely breeds well over a decade ago, as I wanted to learn as much as possible about the breeds conformations and Breed Standard and correct Structure, so that when making decision of a Sire or Dam, I knew what I needed to use to improve on what I had. Temperament and structure are FIRST & foremost the MOST important thing that we breed for.
