Belantine Chocolate Ripple is almost 6 months old now, and I’m so happy with how he’s developing. He’s growing into a beautifully balanced young British Shorthair with a plush chocolate coat, gorgeous copper eyes, and that lovely chunky build we all adore.
As beautiful as he is, it’s his personality that really steals the show. Ripple is one of the most placid, affectionate boys you’ll ever meet. He’s a constant purr machine who loves being with people 🥰🤎

This beautiful girl headed off to her forever home.

It’s always bittersweet saying goodbye. You spend months caring for them, loving them, watching these little personalities grow, they steal your heart, and before you know it, it’s time for them to start their next chapter.

Would you have guessed they’re all Golden? There’s a Black Golden, Blue Golden, Chocolate Golden and Black Golden point.

Watching them change from tiny newborns into confident, playful, affectionate little personalities is one of the best parts of what I do… and one of the hardest. They certainly leave little paw prints on my heart.
I know there are some very excited families counting down the days! 💕

Hi! I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself, especially for everyone who’s joined the Retreat Britz family recently. 👋

I’m Tracy, the person behind all the kitten photos, late-night messages, Facebook posts, endless cleaning, vet visits, and part of the kitten cuddle crew (definitely the best part 😻).

Retreat Britz started because I fell in love with British Shorthairs—their calm personalities, teddy bear looks, and their chunky, laid-back nature.

My goal has always been simple: to raise healthy, top-quality, well-socialised kittens that become treasured family members. Every kitten grows up surrounded by people, everyday household life, and, most importantly, lots of love.

Whether you’ve been following since the beginning, already have one of our babies, or are just here because you enjoy seeing chunky little faces pop up in your feed… thank you. It genuinely means a lot that you’re here. ❤️
