šŸ” Nova is Looking for Her Forever Home 🐾

Meet Nova – a beautiful Husky x Labrador 5-year-old girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for the outdoors. šŸ’›

āœ… Desexed
āœ… Microchipped
āœ… Vaccinated
āœ… Comes with her leads, Halti, and harness
āœ… Next registration will be paid for

Nova is sadly looking for a new home due to her owners moving overseas – no fault of her own. She’s a loyal, loving companion who thrives on human connection and getting out and about.

🦮 She loves going for walks around the lake and would suit an active home where she can enjoy regular exercise and stimulation.

šŸ” Nova will need a fully fenced property to keep her safe and secure while she plays and relaxes at home.

āŒ Not suitable for homes with cats or chickens, as she’s not a fan of our smaller furry or feathered friends.

If you think you can offer Nova the home she deserves, please reach out And pm us if you can start the next chapter of her life. šŸ’•

ADOPTED

Please adopt me!
This sweet boy is estimated to be around 2 years old and was desexed today. He’s friendly and affectionate, but based on what been said, he would likely thrive best as the only cat in the household, as he can be a bit dominant with others. That said, his behavior may settle now that he’s been desexed.

Please share and reach out if you think you could offer this lovely guy the loving home he deserves.

Adopted šŸ’™šŸ’™

Meet Koa and Toa – two little warriors named by some of our FP whānau, meaning strength – a fitting tribute after a rough start to life.

At just five weeks old, these brothers were battling cat flu. Toa, the brown tabby, had it especially tough. His right eye was completely shut and filled with infection. Thanks to antibiotics and lots of love, his eye has healed well, though it now carries a unique dark pigmentation as a reminder of his journey.

These boys have come so far! With the amazing Missy from Ohana Animal Physiotherapy giving them their microchips, they're one step closer to being all set. Desexing appointments are now in the books too – they’re nearly ready for the next chapter.

Stay strong, little Koa and Toa – you've already come so far!

Opal, a deeply loved and dearly missed member of the family, has been missing for four weeks. Her absence has left a profound void in the lives of those who care for her. If you are in the Chedworth Avenue area of Hamilton and have seen any sign of Opal, no matter how small or difficult it may be to share, please come forward. The family is desperately seeking closure, whether it brings hopeful news or not, and any information could help bring them peace or a much-needed happy ending.

Shadow, the beautiful young black cat who was in such desperate need of a loving home. Thanks to all of you. Shadow has well and truly landed on her feet!

She’s now thriving in her new home, being absolutely spoilt (as she deserves!), and has already made herself queen of the household. From frightened and uncertain to relaxed and full of personality, it’s been a joy to see her transformation.

Thank you again to everyone who shared her story, sent love, and helped make this happy ending possible. And a huge thank-you to Sarah for opening her heart and home—Shadow couldn’t have hoped for more.

We have three young male cats, rescued from the Horotiu Bridge area, who are now looking for safe, rural homes to call their own.

Two of the boys are still quite young—around 8 months old—and while they’re semi-feral, they have potential to settle well in the right environment. These boys would thrive best in a farm or lifestyle block setting, where they can live semi-independently while still receiving food, shelter, and kindness.

Ongoing support will be provided to help with their transition and settling-in process. They will be desexed in the next couple of weeks and ready to go to their new homes.

We name him "Champ" šŸ†

Two weeks ago, a tiny 7-week-old kitten was brought to me from near the Horotiu Bridge—so malnourished and frail, he looked closer to 5 weeks. He was skin and bones, unable to walk properly due to nutrient deficiencies. It was clear he had been starving for some time.

But what broke me most wasn’t just his condition—it was his heart. Despite all he’d been through, he didn’t hiss, spit, or growl. Not once. He simply cried out for love, even smooching up to a Shih Tzu as if asking her to be his new mum. His eyes were clear, his breathing perfect—he wasn’t sick, just heartbreakingly neglected.

From what we’ve learned, this kitten and his siblings were dumped. Locals rescued a few, though sadly, one didn’t survive. A compassionate woman has been helping trap and save the others in the area—three more young cats are now safe in our care, being tamed, with one still to be caught.

Now, two weeks later, this sweet boy has made an incredible recovery. He’s eating like a champ, playing, and cuddling up every chance he gets. He’s full of love and ready to give it all to someone who can show him that the world isn’t always cruel.

If you’ve got room in your heart and home for a little fighter with a giant heart, please message me. This boy deserves the world—and I’d love to introduce you.

Help us give him a name? šŸ’™šŸ¾

This beautiful young black cat is in desperate need of a safe and loving home. She's incredibly sweet, gentle, and full of potential—but her time is heartbreakingly limited.

Right now, she waits quietly at the vet’s office, hoping someone will give her a second chance before it’s too late. Despite everything, she still trusts and hopes. Her glossy black coat and bright eyes hide a gentle soul that just wants to love and be loved.

🐾 Meet Willow – Your New Best Friend! 🐾

Willow is a sweet 6-year-young pup who’s ready to fill your life with love and laughter. Born in August, this special girl has a heart as big as her smile – and yes, she smiles when greeted by her family!

Willow was socialized with cats as a puppy, though it’s been a few years since she’s had feline friends. She’s a true human at heart – house-trained and perfectly content as an indoor dog. She’s also fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and up to date with flea and worm treatments.

This cuddle bug thrives on affection and would love to be part of a family who can match her loving energy. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and joyful companion, Willow is the one!

Meet Coco Melon!

This gorgeous 10-week-old silver tabby kitten has captured our hearts! Little Coco Melon was found wandering in Huntly, and after nearly two weeks of searching for her owners, she’s now been in our care for 7 days, thanks to a kind lady who brought her to safety.

Coco Melon is an absolute sweetheart! She’s the cruisiest kitten you’ll ever meet and adores humans. While she’s a bit shy around dogs at first, she warms up quickly once she knows they’re friendly.

Coco Melon has been wormed and deflead, she’s already booked in for desexing and microchipping once she’s old enough.

She’s now ready to find her forever home! If you’re interested in giving this little girl a home please send us a message.
