Haumoana locals

Haumoana locals It's funny how people assume to be something they are not. Localism is way of life, a minimum 10 years, dreamers!

And if the boys ain't done a haka to endorse you becoming a local, sorry!

I just saw this sculpture at Te Awanga
It looks great, I love the creativity
Unfortunately the creators used all of the pavers that have been carefully placed in the gravel on top of the retaining wall to help surfers with soft feet to walk along the top. The sculptors bring a lot of the pavers and have used some to brace their sculpture and taken the rest home. Please leave the pavers for us with soft feet
Thanks

holy hell,
and just like that I'm back out there! a couple more weeks of this solo rambling and then and then and....well.... then....see the attached poster....things are getting real
heres a nice article from the Taranaki Daily News about thursdays showwwwww...
https://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/news/129396984/folk-singer-returns-to-new-plymouth-to-play-tunes-and-spin-yarns
there'll be some door sales but its looking good and cozy at the 4th wall...rotorua only has a splattering of tix left and levin might be down to one or two...whanganui and palmerston north I have no idea but no doubt we'll get at least 3 which is two more than me! Musicians always are trying to bamboozle ya with the 1st release/last release/last tickets (apart from the 60 on the door) shell game. I'd do that to but I'm less about the hustle than I am about the muscle and the blood and the bone and wearing all three down to the stumps! the nubs! If I had to do the above too much it might seem like I was succeding and that friends would mean my edge has sliped. So I drive on lance windmill ready bathed in the holy water of great professional unprofesionality every where.
tickets and info for the below shows at www.adammcgrat.net/shows or www.forteastern.net as they come to hand and become released!
stick with us friends we're getting the goddman band together to start cracking floors all over...

On Saturday morning, Gallery curator Clayton Gibson will lead a panel discussion, about the practice of art and surfing, and their impact on one another, with four creatives from The Path – painters John Walsh and Margaret Hansen, carver Aaron Kereopa and author Aaron Topp. We’d love you to join us for this talk, which starts at 11am.
(Don’t forget you’ll need your My Vaccine Pass to come into the Gallery between 10am and 2pm on Saturday.)

Hello Hamoana locals! This might be a long shot, but did anyone happen to find a skateboard in the back section of the hamoana domain? Is there any other group or anything lost and found related?

From Diane Ledbrook:

Yesterday I lost my wallet somewhere round the Humming Bird Cafe and up towards the beach and along the left road to the entrance to the track. I would really appreciate if any of the locals found it to hold it for me. There is some cash, but mostly I would like all my cards, licence, ID etc. I am hoping that some kind person has found it for me.

Haumoana, Te Awanga and Parkhill water update.

On Monday 26 November we will begin to drill an investigation bore at Palomino Rd, Haumoana. This will confirm the water supply can provide a new source of water without iron and manganese. The work is expected to take approximately four to five weeks with drilling between 7am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday. For more information go to: https://goo.gl/EX6EdH
