✨ Navigating your first Christmas without your beloved pet ✨

The upcoming holidays can be a difficult, often bittersweet time when you are missing your beloved pet. Here are some tips to help you navigate this tough time:

❤️ Share their memory
Talk about your pet and your favourite moments together at upcoming gatherings. It’s okay to laugh, cry, and reminisce.

🎄Create a Tribute
Hang an ornament with their photo, light a candle in their honour, or set up a small memorial in your home.

🤗 Lean on Support
Surround yourself with understanding friends and family that acknowledge your grief.

🍓 Focus on self-care
Allow yourself to feel all the emotions and do things that fill your cup. Don’t put pressure on yourself to feel “festive” if you’re not there yet.

🐶 🐱 Give love to other pets
If you or other family and friends have pets, give them some attention - animals are the best form of therapy. They actually release hormones that can help reduce feelings of sadness and depression.

✨ Grief and joy can co-exist. It’s okay to celebrate the season while cherishing your pet’s memory. 🧡

We have had a Male Entire Black Labrador found in the Maheno, Main Road area. Unfortunately he has no microchip to help us identify his owner. A couple of the recent paw castings we have done 🐾 one of these will be mounted on timber and the other will be alongside a nose casting in a shadow box.

We recently had a client want their dogs paw print engraved on the top of a wooden urn which also came out beautifully 😍

If you have an idea of something you’d like and we haven’t done it before we will try our best to accommodate, so always feel free to ask.
