We’re thrilled to welcome Jansen, a highly skilled and passionate Senior Cat and Dog Groomer, as he takes over grooming services here at PetSpace.

Jansen brings over 8 years of hands-on grooming experience—with 5 years in Bahrain and 3 years in Auckland. He is a Senior Groomer from Scissorhounds, one of New Zealand’s most respected pet grooming salon chains, and is now bringing his expertise to the Gisborne community.

Big news — PetSpace has officially been sold 💕

After seven wonderful years, I’ve made the difficult decision to sell the business. Juggling two businesses and a toddler has been a huge mental load, and it’s time for me to step back and focus on my family and Pet Reflections.

When I first started out in the small Grey Street shop all those years ago, I never could have imagined how much PetSpace would grow into what it is today. Through all the ups and downs — including COVID, the cyclone, and everything in between — your loyalty and support have kept this little dream alive. 🐾

To all my wonderful customers, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your pets over the years. So many of you (and your dogs!) feel like family, and I’ll miss seeing you all so much. 💕

PetSpace will continue under new ownership, and I know it’s in good hands. Thank you for being part of this journey with me — it’s truly been out of this world. 🚀💜

We will be closed this Saturday 6th September and Monday 8th September as I am heading to Christchurch for a family event. We are open until 2pm today and will reopen at 8am on Tuesday 9th September.

Not to panic anyone but here's a fun fact, if your dog is on a 6 week schedule there are only 3 appointments left until Christmas 😮 We are starting to book right through to December so here's the first hint to get in early.

Big congrats to the lovely Luna for completing her puppy package. 🐾 She has to be one of the sweetest, gentlest puppy’s we’ve had in. She was so good for everything from her first session to her last. 🦮
