Colds been brought back into work by myself for the last 6 weeks, it’s been a pleasure to work with this horse. He is a well mannered, big, strong, sensitive fulla who is willing to please and very responsive.

Before coming to me he was used for mustering in the high country and used up in the north island for starting young ones.

While he’s been with me he’s been in full time work doing schooling, groundwork, mustering and a couple outings to the local arena. My main focus’s for him have been getting him soft, bending correctly, dropping his head and collecting. We’ve been working on his sliding stops which are coming along very nicely, aswell as a bit of reining and roping. Hes been great hacking and mustering alone or with other horses

He’s a talented horse with a very fast response time, he would excel as a roper, reiner or all round rodeo horse in the right hands.

I would like to see Cold go to an experienced western rider that will continue his career. As he is a sensitive horse he will need a calm hand to get the best out of him.

Cold will continue in full time work until he’s found the right home.

Bonnie’s a very cruisy horse with an amazing personality to go with it. Fast learner and bombproof.
Can crack a whip of her and I’ve roped a few posts and dragged them round without a problem. She’s good with stock and extensively hacked out over hills, hacks alone or with groups, crosses creeks, not spooky, sure footed. Popped her over a few little jumps without any problems. She’s got a very smooth walk, trot and lope. Has stop, roll back , backup.
Teeth and feet done. Nice straight legs. No health problems or injuries.
Had her out on a trek in gale force winds and she was perfect, nothing fazes her.
Floats and fine with farrier. No buck bolt rear. You can ride her ba****ck with the lead rope no problem. Neck reins and voice commands
Needs to go as I don’t have the time, and she has too much potential to be standing around in the paddock!
She’s out of highly recommended, never raced.
