Sophie’s been doing a great job on the leather work too

First saddling for this young mare, I’ve been getting her to move into pressure this week as she had a pretty bad pulling back problem but she’s doing great

Bears covered 3 mares already with more booked in for this season. If your interested please get in touch

Almost 2 weeks work with this girl and she’s making great progress.
As you can see she’s starting to trust us and understand that a saddle or someone above her isn’t anything to worry about. All I’m wanting is some forward movement and free hips without a blow up

25/10/2025

Well she bucked plenty today, cut the videos down as it went on a fair while but you get the jist. Kept her moving until she could lope, trot and walk nice and calmly. Undid the cinch and give her a pat, thats all we are after at the moment

Just to be clear this is no reflection on the brand or breeding or anything like that, she’s a lovely filly with a kind eye and great nature.

Unfortunately its us, human error that can teach our horses these bad habits.
But thats why we do what we do, we want them to have the best start and unlock their true potential. For this big girl a full restart will set her up for a better riding Carrier

“Broken in” 3yo that bucks people off. I wouldn’t call that ready to ride let alone broke
Lots of trust to build with this filly and a lot of ground work before I hop on

Correct groundwork makes floating for the first time as easy as this, it wouldn’t have taken long to get him self loading
