I don’t think he was too impressed that baby got the back seat and he had to travel home to Timaru in the boot because he’s to big for the front seat … 😂

Beautiful Summer came in for a full groom! ☀️

When you first look, you may not notice a huge difference between the before and after photos — and that’s exactly the goal with retriever grooms. I aim to maintain that natural “retriever” look while keeping everything tidy, practical, and easier to manage, especially over the winter months.

For Summer, I took around 1–2 inches off her chest, belly, backs of the legs, and tail. ✂️

This helps keep her cleaner, tidier, and a little less fluffy around the house too 🤭

We are home from the hospital and starting to settle into our new routines 🏡👶

As things ease back into normal, I’ll be working through the appointments that had to be postponed and will be in touch with everyone over the next couple of days.

Just a heads up—grooming appointments may take a little longer than usual for a while, now that I’ve got a baby at home with me. I’m sure your pups won’t mind some extra time relaxing in front of the fire though 🙈🔥

If this doesn’t suit, no worries at all—just let me know and I can book you in on a day where I’ve got an extra set of hands.

🐾✂️ A Little Early Leave… With a Very Special Reason! 🐣💛

Well… it looks like someone decided they didn’t want to miss their very first Easter 🐰🥚 and made a very early 8 week arrival.

Because of this unexpected (but very exciting!) change, I’ll be taking my time off a little earlier than planned. For now, we’re based in Christchurch NICU, soaking up lots of love and strength 💕

Thank you so much to all my amazing clients for your understanding and support — it truly means the world 🐶💖

I’ll keep you all updated along the way, and I can’t wait to be back pampering your gorgeous pups in June.
