Welcome FRANKIE 🤍

Flash, Baxter and I took Frankie on a ‘get to know each other’ walk on Saturday 6th Dec in preparation for her first Pack adventure starting the following Friday. What a gorgeous girl, such a sweetheart, impeccable recall, a little bit anxious, especially getting in the van but her confidence will grow with repetition and the fact that she will soon associate the van with FUN 🤩

Another rowdy super fun splashy adventure on THURSDAY (20th Nov) with Murphy, Tama, Ravi, Milly, Cotton, Zeva, Flash & Baxter. We headed a bit further out of town to one of these kid’s favourite places, a beautiful valley walk with HEAPS of great swimming holes, best time ever 💦💦💦

A super fun WEDNESDAY afternoon adventure (19th Nov) with Arlo, Olive, Fergus, Saskia, Flippy, Ruby, Flash & Baxter. So much fun hunting rabbits, Baxter caught his first one 5 minutes after getting out of the van, the others loved joining in the chase. Then we spent plenty of time in the river fetching sticks, splashing about and just soaking to cool off. The best place to be on a hot afternoon ☀️💦

TUESDAY (18th Nov) with Honey, Milly, Marley, Scott, Cotton, Zeva, Baxter and Flash. Another action packed adventure. We took a track up further away from the forest trees, to try and avoid the nesting falcons, but they still came and harassed us as we headed up to the logged area; the dogs think its a great game and had fun racing along the track as the birds swooped, thankfully the don’t swoop too close. Lots of rabbit hunting amongst the logs before heading back through the cooler bush tracks back down to the swimming hole to finish off with some splashing about 💦

A super fun start to the week with Suki, Honey, Marley, Fergus, Lulu, Fern, Tui, Flash & Baxter last MONDAY (17th Nov). A wonderful 2.5 hour bush adventure with plenty of exploration in the bush and lots of stream crossing involving plenty of fun water play 💦 we bumped into my friend Leni who was out adventuring with Murphy and Tama. Tama again decided he wanted a second adventure so we had an impromptu pack member tag along for the fun, the more the merrier. Always such a fun way to start the week.

Koda had his first pack adventure with Honey, Milly, Scott, Saskia, Baxter & Flash on FRIDAY (14th Nov) and he absolutely LOVED it, all the others welcomed him with open arms, it was as if he had been part of their part for months. So much fun exploring the bush and plenty of water fun with the weather getting much warmer. Happy happy dogs 🤩

DOG WALKING WANAKA & HAWEA

Hi my name is Rachael, a dog lover from way back, I have photos of myself as a toddler hugging random dogs at the local beach! In the real world I am a photographer, of animals and people, but ALL my free time is spent out in the stunning landscapes of Wanaka walking my little shadow Flash, a very friendly Jack Russell. I am always taking out friends dogs, as I am sure they would much rather be out with Flash and I than sitting at home by themselves and dogs love being in a pack, so I thought ‘why not offer my services to other’ and let their dogs enjoy a bit more fun with their friends. An active, well exercised dog equals a content, well behaved and non destructive dog, its a no-brainer really, so give me a call today!

Having spent the past 25 years photographing animals I feel I have earned myself an honorary degree in Animal Psychology! So rest assured, I have your dogs best interest at heart and will make sure they have the best time!
