Story behind Nooramunga Ranch:
Nooramunga Ranch was formed in 2022 with the vision of creating a purpose built Western Performance facility in the South Island. Nooramunga Ranch is home of NR Performance Horses, who pride themselves in breeding top quality reining horses from imported genetics. About our name:
Nooramunga origin is Australian aboriginal. The meaning behind the name is 'place of happy dreams'. Nooramunga ties back to Fliss' Australian roots, with the farm she grew up on being called Nooramunga. Giving this new established reining facility a large connect to home. Nooramunga Ranch welcomes fellow riders to their facility and hope to share the love and passion for horses with all.

We are incredibly grateful and honoured to have been recognised at the recent Christchurch Western Riding Association End of Year Awards.

This season may have been a smaller one for both of us, but receiving these awards means a great deal:

A huge thank you to the CWRA committee for the nominations and for selecting us as recipients. We are both very humbled to receive these awards amongst such a fantastic group of riders and supporters.

Thank you to everyone who encouraged, supported, cheered us on, lent a hand, shared a laugh and made the season enjoyable. Western riding is built on the people within it and we are fortunate to be part of such a great community.

With hip surgery, rehabilitation, work commitments and a lighter competition schedule than usual, neither of us expected to be taking home awards this season.

Congratulations to all award recipients and competitors throughout the season. We look forward to getting back out there, riding alongside you all again next season.

SOUTH ISLAND LIBERTY CLINIC

Booking details will be posted soon but if you would like to reserve a space send me an email and we can send you the booking form when it's completed.

Our Liberty Clinic is designed to meet you where you are currently at, we will go through from the very beginning for those who are completly new but if you have already done lots of Liberty or even a bit when we split into smaller groups your sessions will be tailored to meet you where you are at.

We work in small groups of 2 or 3 so there is lots of personal attention. We have multiple short sessions as horses learn best in small chunks.

We are staying on site at Noomurunga, private lessons will also be available on Friday before the clinic and possibly Monday morning after.
