UPDATE 10/9 – And just like that Griff has been snapped up by Dogwatch, lucky boy :)

Some of our dogs are able to go home with staff for a break. Not only is this great for them to have some time out, it provides valuable info for a potential adopter 🙂

Griff, our lab/pug mix, male, 10mths had this opportunity- and as you can see he made himself quite at home!

Here is what we've learned -

Not keen on getting in the car, but travels well once in

Is a bit unsure when out on a walk, stops suddenly, walks around your legs when he sees something new - but the bonus is he doesn't pull✔️

Is house trained - yay!

Is still settling in at night, howls (so not cute, but just a little cute 😘) when first goes to bed - hoping for a first quiet night - will keep you posted!

He loves meeting new people, has been great with all the dogs he has met here, both female and male.

Loves to fetch balls or toys - and will bring them back!

So if you are after a not so big dog, (he is a shorty, around 16kg) who is super social and just needs a few easy tweaks, come in and say Hi, he would love to meet you 😊

Update 5/09/2025 We are happy to say that Mila has gone to dogwatch, and she has taken her friend Pompom with her 😍🤗

This Beautiful Labrador cross is Mila, she is est to be 3 years old.
Mila is a very sweet girl when it comes to humans and loves having cuddles in the office ❤ Mila is a large girl looking for a home to accommodate her needs
Mila has been mixed with a few of our male dogs, Such as pompom
If you like the look of our girl, give us a call on 941 7048 or pop in and see us Mon-Fri 1pm-5pm.
We don't cat, child or livestock test so we don't know what she is like with these things.

Sometimes we may not have the right dogs to socialize our dogs - so we are so lucky to call on our friends at Dogwatch Sanctuary to help us out - big thank you to Kenny (ex CCC pound dog), super social boy (red harness) popping down to run with one of our pups, Ozzy (now adopted) Please check out Kenny at Dogwatch 💗

UPDATE/UPDATE/UPDATE 20/7- We are beyond thrilled to let you all know our sweet boy Tito has gone to Dogwatch! So pleased for him - and even better news, he has taken his bestie Alice with him 🥰

So, you may start to notice that we are a bit TITO heavy with our posts, and we are! Doesn't mean we don't love the others just as much but he has been here way too long and is eagerly waiting for his new people to walk through our door 🤞 So sorry, not sorry that we are pushing his special, sweet face 🥰

Oh, and the boss said yes to busting him out today for a trip to the beach🌞 May well have been his first time there as he was a bit unsure - but he definitely enjoyed the new smells, change of scenery, and the car ride - it's the small things really!

TITO - welcoming new girl Shelby. We never know if our dogs are dog social or reactive. We are so lucky having Tito who is our main socialiser, he is so calm and cruisy and just an all round good guy! Thank you for your help Tito ❤️

Humphrey running with (tolerating 🤔) youngster Hazel. He has been invaluable helping her with her confidence and learning some manners! Such a good boy Humphrey 😍
