Vaccination is their best protection from Parvo, not something any vet nurse or vet will ever forget seeing in a dog! Also check while your there if their up to date with their Canine Cough vaccine, although only a preventative as there are many strains of Canine flu. It is a good form of protection against your pup suffering severe symptoms. As in all things virus, each dog is different in their own immunity defenses, any compromised immune systems defense and age. We all do our best to keep our babies and yours safe. 😘😀

Hay team, just letting you all know there have been 3 canine cough cases over the last few weeks, all in different sections. We have put our cleaning skills to the test again and are doing everything we can to keep it at bay from Alameda. Just remember your pets can be carrying the virus with no symptoms on arrival and departure so please be respectful when letting us know, we never like to hear of our dogs getting sick but unfortunately it is a virus that is picked up anywhere and brought to the kennels. We all just do our best to keep all the doggy's safe. Kind regards Davina
