Arion Farm Education Park is a facility run by the National Trade Academy at McLeans Island, Christchurch that allows children to see, touch and feed a variety of farm animals. Children can hand feed animals, learn about the breeds in a natural environment. Donkey and pony rides are available and a picnic and play area with shelter and shade is provided. The park and/or party hut is also available

for birthday parties and corporate functions. The farm is one of the few facilities in the country to focus solely on New Zealand farm animals and farming heritage. Children can learn about farm animals, their history and contribution to the New Zealand Economy. Our school holiday programme (Farmer for a Day) is available for parents wanting to give their children an invaluable experience in animal handling and care. Feed for animals $2.50 a cup, pony rides $5 11am-12pm & 1pm-2pm. Family Pass of 2 adults 2 children 1 feed $44 or 2 adults 3 children 1 feed for $49. Arion Farm is a fun, affordable activity for all children and a good safe place to come where parents can relax! Arion Farm Education Park is open 7 days per week, 10am – 3pm, except Christmas Day.

🐰IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE 🪺

Due to the rainy weather forecast for Easter Monday, we have taken the decision to postpone our Easter event. The new date for the event is....

Saturday, the 26th of April

🐰Easter Bunny will be there. He's a few days late but better late than never.
🪺We've got over 1,000 Easter eggs for Easter egg hunts and other fun activities happening throughout the day,
Food Stalls, Princesses, FREE bouncy castles, FREE face painting, and more, so spread the word, and we'll see you on Saturday the 26th of April here at Arion Farm Park

This is just a reminder that we've got Crafty Cooper coming tomorrow from 11-1pm, to do a fun DIY project with the kids, making an Easter Bunny in time for Easter.
If it is raining, it will be indoors.

🥳 The school holidays have arrived!!
Here at Arion Farm Park, we're open every day from 10-3pm. 🐴
We've got Crafty Cooper coming on Tuesday, 15th April, from 11-1pm to do a fun project he has planned with the children where he will be teaching them how to make a DIY bunny in time for Easter, which those participating can take home with them.🐰

And the following Monday, we have got our Big Easter Event on Easter Monday the 21st of April.
