The Dogfather NZ

The Dogfather NZ Dog training for owners and small to medium sized dogs (15kg and less). General obedience, behavioural management and puppy training.

My 1 on 1 training uses a transferable / handover method. This allows me to train your dog and to then teach you how to get the same results. Initially working with the dog means I can visit and train your dog while you are at work or the gym etc, making training very time effective for you. By talking to owners about the dogs issues and owners expectations and by watching the dogs behaviour in &

out of its home environment, I am able to implement a training programme that is effective for both owner and dog to get results. Originally from the UK, I have been working with dogs since 1991. I attended the Royal Airforce Police dog training and have since worked in Canada & the States to further develop my training methods. My current style is quite removed from my original training. I focus on positive reinforcement and there is no use of physical force or yelling. With these methods I am able to work with dogs even when they have an adverse history.
