Attention veterinary nurses!

We are looking for a new happy camper to join our team at the Animal & Bird Hospital! If you have great initiative, a ready smile with a big heart, and plenty of enthusiasm to boot, we’d love to hear from you. Ideally, you will have a veterinary nursing qualification but if you have some experience in the field and are keen to work towards a qualification, then that would work too.

About us… we are based in Ferry Road, Woolston (affectionately known as Coolston), Christchurch. The clinic was established in 1977 and is still family owned. It’s busy, buzzing, and happy. We are big on sense of community and do a lot of not-for-profit work with rescue organisations and wildlife. The team is diverse and talented with many having their own niche or special interests.

Work hours are negotiable. For the right person, we do have some flexibility. There would be an expectation that you would pitch in for your fair share of Saturdays and evenings. There is also accommodation above the practice if that would help you in the short term.
