We are absolutely thrilled to now be stocked — a team based in Michigan that genuinely cares about pet welfare and takes the time to truly understand the products they put on their shelves. That means the world to us.

As a small brand, every retailer that backs Totoniks is a huge deal. We are so grateful to all of our stockists who simply get it - who believe in quality, education, hydration, health and products that genuinely make a difference for dogs.

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here lately… startup life means wearing all the hats and sometimes socials slip down the list 😅

But things are going really well behind the scenes and next week our team hits the road in the USA - huge miles, lots of stores, and plenty of exciting conversations ahead 🇺🇸. Keep an eye out for us in San Francisco, Sacramento, Detroit, Atlanta, Memphis, Tampa, Dallas and Austin over the next few weeks.

As Shane was packing these adorable Kiwis by .cc we couldn’t resist a quick photo shoot because honestly… how cute are they? 🥹

Small but mighty — just like these little birds. And funnily enough, they’re made from repurposed old blankets while Totoniks is made from repurposed venison blood.

Meet Levi 🐾

Our very first USA team member — and what a way to kick things off. From team bonding to officially joining the Totoniks family, it’s been a pretty special start.

In true Totoniks style, Levi got the full welcome package… including a business card featuring her doggo (obviously 🐶). And because she’s completely bird (and animal) mad, we couldn’t arrive empty-handed — a little Kiwi made from recycled blankets by .cc quickly became her travel companion and didn’t leave her side on that first trip.

As we grow and slowly stop being such a well-kept secret, we just want to say a huge thank you. To our new followers, our clients, and everyone who believes in the venison blood goodness we’re bringing to dogs around the world — we’re so grateful.

At the home of Totoniks in Christchurch, New Zealand, we’re lucky to have soft plastic recycling drop-off points nearby. So instead of tossing our empty sachets, we collect them and recycle them in bulk. ♻️

Our outer packaging is fully recyclable too — simply flatten and pop it into your household recycling.

Sustainability isn’t an afterthought for us.
It starts with repurposing nutrient-rich venison blood 🩸 that could otherwise end up polluting waterways, and turning it into a natural hydration and nutrition boost for dogs.💦

And it finishes with thoughtful packaging choices that help reduce waste. 📦

Big things are happening at Totoniks HQ. 🚢🐾

This week we packed a 40ft container ready to head to the US. Amazing to think just last year we were using 20ft containers! For a small, passionate team based in Christchurch, NZ, watching it all come together feels pretty magical. The 1000s of phone calls, emails, the early mornings & late nights, the unwavering belief in what we are creating, and the unwavering belief and support of our backers…moments like these make it all worthwhile. ❤️

And while the container heads to the US… so do we. ✈️ We’re Orlando-bound for — back for year two, and this time we’re going bigger. If you believe what goes in your dog’s bowl matters, so do we. Come find us.👍
