Customised horse, house and pet sitting services. Flinchlock Release treatments for horse and rider. Not to mention the dog and two cats that ran the place.
Let me tell you more about myself....I have had the pleasure of growing up in rural South Wales (UK) with sheep, chickens and ducks and a pony. I have been around horses since I could walk and have been ever since. Although I am comfortable looking after animals of most shapes and sizes. As a keen horse rider with over 20 years of experience and having run 3 day Event yards and livery yards I have
a wealth of knowledge and understanding with which to be pleased to offer. I am also available to give lessons or assist and work with you and your horse on a one to one basis, or even work them while you are away. Please feel free to message me and I can discuss your requirements with you. Although I am based in Christchurch I frequently travel up to Whangarei in which I would happy to be able to organise lessons during my time up there. I am a ConTact CARE Flinchlock Release Equine Foundation Pracitioner. More details are on the link http://www.contactcare.co.nz/index.asp
Primarily studying the Equine part of this technique and treatment. The Equine side being my main focus - however, I will be looking at treating not just the horses but also their riders or handlers or humans in general whether they are associated with horses or not. Just a wee introduction about the Therapy:-
'ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock® Release Therapy has isolated the body’s reactive self-defence system and recognises this system has the power to freeze the whole body or any part or parts much the same as the hand brake in a vehicle. ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock® Release Therapy has observed that bone shapes and planes of the skull have corresponding shapes and planes in the body. It is a purely pressure-for-pressure relationship with no connection to the brain – it creates the balance angles and pressure in normal function activities, e.g. lifting, and also the reactive moves created by external attack pressures. The brain intends - the body reacts - we get hurt - the body reacts
ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock® Release Therapy works to free frozen body reactions. ConTact C.A.R.E Flinchlock® Release Therapy does this by carefully re-enacting the original situation pressure and positioning, then using the “Flinchlock® Release Formula” which exactly replicates the surprise shock which caused the frozen contraction to set, we facilitate a controlled unravelling out to normal functional position and pressure. As the pressure drops, the bone SHAPES naturally reposition the bones. The body’s natural seeking for the most effortless/efficient way to survive does the rest. Homeostasis is improved.'
My goal that I am studying for is to progress to becoming a ConTact CARE Equine Advanced Practitioner. I am able to offer treatments at a discounted rate while I am still studying towards this goal. If you are interested please message me and I will be happy to discuss things further. Going away for a holiday, and worried about who will look after your house and pets while you are away...or even more worried that they won't like being in kennels? Why not give Kim a call and see if there is something she can organise to ensure your home and furry or feathered friends are taken care of in the comfort of their own home. I am pleased to be able to offer horse, house and pet sitting in the Christchurch and surrounding areas, caring for your house and/or animals while you are away. Prices start from $20/day. Please feel free to send me a message for a quote.
