The faces behind the care 🐾

While you’ll spot some familiar faces, we’ve also welcomed some wonderful fresh faces this year. We’re a relatively new team, but we’ve quickly become a close-knit bunch, all sharing the same passion for providing the very best care for your pets. 🩺

We’re proud of our team and grateful to do what we do every day. 😻

🚨 Just a reminder that a microchip is just a number unless it is registered!

A dog has a microchip that is registered to your local council as well as the NZCAR. The council is mandatory while the NZCAR is optional, but it is still highly encouraged. If your dog is loose and we scan a chip, we can find your details easily through NZCAR. If they're not registered with the NZCAR, we have to call the council and get Animal Management to collect your dog.

A cat's microchip is useless unless it is registered with NZCAR.

You can do it yourself online or a vet clinic can also do it for you for a one off cost.

If you know your pet is registered, this is a friendly reminder to ensure those details are still up to date! 😀

Our clinic will be closed on Anzac Day, this Saturday 25th April as we take time to honour and remember those who have served.
We will also be closed Monday 27th April in observance of Anzac Day.
We will reopen as usual from Tuesday 28th at 8am.

Looks like we’ve officially been replaced 🐾

Just in time for Veterinary Receptionist Week, meet our newest receptionist, Koromiko. From greeting clients, to supervising paperwork (by sitting directly on it), and making sure the keyboard gets plenty of attention… this little professional does it all.

Payment is strictly in pats. Productivity may be slightly down, but morale has never been higher 😻
