🚨 Let’s Talk Fleas 🚨

We’ve noticed an increase in flea cases coming through the salon over the past week, so we wanted to give everyone a heads up!

Fleas seem to be a bit more active at the moment, and it’s important to stay vigilant to keep your pups (and your homes!) protected. Regular flea prevention is key, even as the seasons start to change.

Keep an eye out for signs like excessive scratching, biting at the skin, or small black specks in the coat. If you’re unsure, we’re always happy to check prior to your appointment (Please visit us a few days before, so that we can get on top of them before your visit) 😊

⚠️ Important: If your dog has fleas, please take care of this before your visit.
Fleas in the salon can have a big impact on our business, as it requires a full clean-down, flea treatment of the space, and hot washing of all towels and bedding.

Because of this, any dogs found with fleas during their appointment will incur an additional fee. This covers a full flea shampoo treatment, as well as full flea bomb and the extra cleaning measures required to keep all of our clients safe.

🏡 At Home Care Tip:
When treating your dog for fleas, it’s just as important to treat their environment too. We recommend giving your home a thorough vacuum, Hot washing all pet bedding, and using a flea bomb (can be purchased from the supermarket or bunnings) to help eliminate any fleas still in the environment.

This week, we’re excited to welcome Christina to the team! Grooming locally for 7 years (and 12 total), Christina brings with her a wealth of experience, skill, and genuine care for every dog she works with. We’re thrilled to have her join us and know our clients (both two- and four-legged!) will love her just as much as we do.

Christina is looking forward to meeting plenty of new furry faces, as well as reconnecting with some familiar ones along the way 🐾 She particularly loves grooming Puppy's, Shihtzus and is skilled in most breeds and great with dogs who need a little extra time and attention

🎄 🎄 We’re officially on the home straight with just a few more gorgeous doggies to groom today, then it’s scissors down, clippers off, and time for a well-deserved Christmas break for our Pawfection Team✂️🐶

We will be reopening on 5th January ✨🐾

We want to take a moment to say the **biggest thank you** to all of our incredible clients who have visited our salon this year — both the two-legged and four-legged kind — and for allowing us to do what we truly love this year. Trusting us with your precious pups means the world to us 💕

And honestly… thank you for absolutely spoiling us over the past month with so many thoughtful little gifts, treats, and kind words 🎁 We’ve felt so appreciated and grateful — it really does mean more than you know especially after a hard last few weeks for our team with a groomer down
