We now have bandanas available! Handmade by us, ready for you. They slip over your dog or cat's collar to add an extra pop of colour when they are out and about. Two designs available with present batch. Colours and sizes available are:

We have been asked what the different light setting options are. There are a variety to appeal to everyone's individual preferences which are:
- Rescue (flashing lights)
- Cool Comet
- Independence Day (to recognised our harnesses origin from the USA
- Rainbow
- Photon
- Disco
- Solid colours

It is easy to switch between the different settings by pressing the power button briefly until you get to your preferred option.

Here is a great image showing how our harnesses fit on our dogs - clipping just behind the legs, with a strap across their chest they sit evenly and work well with a variety of leads - including a long line. Or, if your dog has great recall you can unclip them and let them explore whilst still being able to spot them with their LED lights.

How are we all finding these cold winter mornings? Let us know in the comments. Even when it is raining you can use our harnesses... Why? They are fully enclosed and waterproof (although we do not recommend they are worn whilst swimming, and please follow the manufacturers guidelines about use in inclement weather). Even better, you can slip the light module out and wash the harness for when our furry friends decide to get dirty exploring the outdoors. Want to know more? In part three of our behind the scenes tour - what do we do? Good question!

The Woof spends his days snoozling, enjoying the sun, waiting for his next meal / walk / playtime - which are always too far away in his opinion.

His humans spend their weekdays in office jobs and love nothing more than coming home and taking The Woof for a wander around our local streets and parks to unwind. He also gets a walk early in the morning to start the day off right for his human behind the store (6:15am and we are out the door - despite being a night owl). We go in all weather - we just pick up our gumboots and wet weather gear and get out there. On the weekends we like to head to our favourite spots whenever we can around the Port Hills, keep ourselves busy with projects, volunteer or catch up with friends and family around Canterbury.

In part two of our behind the scenes peek - why do we do what we do? After being stopped on the side of the road more than once by people wanting to know where we got our harness, and what we thought about it we started thinking... maybe there is an opportunity here. And so the Kora Rama Store was born. In time we may add more products and look to grow but at the moment this is a fun way to share a cool product with all of you.

It is the start of the long weekend - a chance to relax, recharge and recognise the Queen's Birthday. A long time dog lover, the Queen got two new puppies earlier this year - Fergus (dorgi) and Muick (corgi) who joined her older dog Candy.

You are probably at the point where you want to know a bit about the people behind the store, what we do and why we do it. In this first post giving a peek behind the scenes, we are telling you a little bit about who we are...

We are a one woman team, with a trusty labrador at their side and an amazing support crew at home. The Woof loves loads of walks - our favourite spot is trails in and around Victoria Park, including Bowenvale Valley, the Summit Road, Sugarloaf and the Crater Rim. The Woof's humans think he is pretty cool, although sometimes the name Trouble would be a more appropriate moniker. We do like our privacy so only The Woof will be seen in pictures for this page at this stage. Below is an image of him below Sugarloaf on a walk earlier this year, wearing his trusty LightHound harness slightly askew in accordance with his fun loving and cheeky nature.

Does your dog love the beach? There are so many wonderful options to try all around New Zealand - we are terribly lucky to be able to move from suburbia to the mountains to the sea with relative ease in this little country of ours as all of these wonderful resources are easily within reach. One of our harnesses is perfect for enjoying an early morning stroll whilst your best friend(s) explore the smells wafting to their sensitive noses over the sea breeze.
