Horse Profile: MORNING BREEZE

Breezey was born 26th Oct 1996 on the family farm.
She is 14.2hh, Part Arab, and she has spent big part of her life endurance riding with my late husband Harvey.
With him, she covered 1000s of kilometers training, competing and travelling in harness.
She is willing, keen and tough, a lead mare with plenty of presence.
If you want to get get from A to B at good speed, she is the girl: point her nose in the right direction, and she is keen to go. A beginner might feel a little unsettled when faced with her impatience, but a confident rider will find her willing, safe and controllable.

Many Thanks to Westreef!

We now have bright signs on the road, asking drivers to be mindful of our horses and riders.

In particular, we thank Rota and Kodi for their efforts to ensure that the signs were put up promptly and efficiently.

Clare, our fabulous ConTact C.A.R.E worker has been working her magic with Tui.
Tui was very stiff, not interested in having people near him, and did not seem fit for work.
He now strides out well again, and has been a favourite with the riders he has had this week.

Horse Profile:

The first one must go to Jack, my trusted, home-bred old friend.
Jack is a sturdy 1/2 Arab, 1/4 TB, 1/4 Clydie gelding, now 27 years old.
He is comfortable to ride bare-back in just his halter at any gait through the paddock, or of course with saddle and bridle. Heis my main go-to horse for our more insecure riders.
Jack has done well at Pony Club with jumping and dressage, travelling in harness, trail riding, formation riding, hacking out, harrowing paddocks, Western camps, RDA...he is a versatile all-rounder.
The dream horse?
Well, he can be a little grumpy with other horses when they challenge his authority.
Also, he gets jealous. Other than that, absolutely! I hold a very special place for him in my heart.
Great work ethic, reliable, consistent, comfortable. A horse who has taught 100s of people that happiness can be found on the back of a horse.

A whole box of delicious smelling herbs arrived! A sincere THANK YOU to Naturally Equine, our local suppliers. We use these supplements to keep our horses healthy through the winter, and they come running for it. : )

Oh no!!!
Came home from a long day's work, and found 11 horses thinking there is an open bar with self-service, yummy baleage, just for them.
Who the **** opened the gate???
This is the aftermath, and we have run out of tape.
