Elite Cat Boarding

Well that's another lot of school holidays done and dusted and we've been super busy. It's also the time of year to get stuck into the garden and I've had to apologise to many of you for the state of my appearance when you come to pick up/drop off in the afternoons! I've been busy planting the steep bank down in front of the main cattery building and it's been hard, hot work. But I've now planted 70 plants and that will do for now. Phew, I don't wish to repeat that job in a hurry. Have a great week everyone 😺😁

Phew, that was one busy weekend we've just had... My daughter Katie had her final school ball which included a 3am pick up from the after party. Wattie and I were then up to feed and clean out the cats before heading up to St Arnaud to run an Open Home (anyone want to buy a house up there??!), and then returning just in time for pick ups and drop offs. Followed by "Up the Wahs".... Which sadly they lost. And now I am ready for bed but thought I would share just a few more photos. Roll on Monday 😁

It was only one day of rain but it was so nice to have the sun shining again today! All of our long-stay cats within the Main Building have now gained enough confidence to walk the hallway to the outside enclosure. Instead of time spent trying to entice them out into the hallway I am instead reassuring them that they will get their turn! Enjoy your weekend 😻😊

How is it that the last post I did was on Sept 5 and now it is the 14th?? Where did those days go? I really have no idea, it's all been a blur of cattery washing, cat cuddles and playtime mixed in with a bit of gardening and altering my daughter's dress for her final school ball this coming weekend... Exciting! I hope everyone else is enjoying seeing the back of Winter and looking forward to the longer days of Summer. 😁😁😻

It's time to start smartening up the Annex enclosures. The concrete in the outside areas has to be regularly water blasted to keep it from going green and I've had enough of doing that. So I've started putting down some artificial grass and soon the tatty corrugated plastic will be replaced with cedar to give a nicer feel to it. Those that have already had the new turf laid have told me it's so much better!!

I hope you're all having a great week and are managing to be somewhere that isn't windy!!
