With one more week to go on our pyjama donation drive for foster children, the box is looking good!

Thank you to everyone who has donated some new pjs!

One more week before they will be collected (and not a moment too soon with the temperatures dropping brrrrr...)

A couple in our team read about foster children in the area needing pj's to keep them warm over winter, with many of these children never having a brand-new pair of their very own... SO!

From Tuesday 2 June until Monday 15 June we are collecting donations of new pyjamas to fit from 0-18 years.

We will get them to the Marlborough Co-ordinator who will distribute to those in need before it gets too much colder.

If you are able to, (perhaps after visiting a certain department store close to the clinic,) drop off a new pair of jammies during our open hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 9am-2pm.

Sadly we had a short hair male tabby 5yo cat brought in to us over the weekend who was so badly injured he didn't make it 😢

His microchip details are not up to date so we are trying to find his people to give them closure.

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating Dr Kelly Trathen and a very special chapter as she set off on maternity leave 🤍

Kelly is such an important part of our team, and the clinic certainly feels different without our very own “KAT 🐱”— we miss her more than she knows and are already counting down the days until she returns.

We are even more delighted to share that baby has since arrived safely. Congratulations to Kelly, Jake, and their beautiful new addition — no doubt the furry kids are absolutely smitten 🩷

We’re sending all our love and cannot wait to meet the newest member of the SVC family ✨
