Another Solo session with Casi today and I could not be prouder of her!🌻

Most of my regular sessions with the farm dogs happen on their 10 acre property, but today Casi headed off on a little adventure beyond the farm — which may genuinely be one of the first times she’s been out exploring somewhere new since she was a puppy (aside from the vet).

She handled it so incredibly well. Super engaged, eager to work, curious about the environment, and still able to stay connected with me while taking in all the new sights, sounds and sniffs. There was a few moments of nervousness in the car, and in proximity to new/strange people but she took it in her stride and came to me in her uncertainty 🥹🌿

For dogs like Casi, these kinds of outings are about so much more than “just a walk.” They build confidence, neutrality, resilience and trust in both themselves and their handler. Watching her relax into the experience and genuinely enjoy herself was such a special thing to witness 🐾

Last minute midday adventure with Zuri 🌿☀️

Her family unexpectedly ended up being out for the whole day, so we squeezed in a last-minute walk to help break up her day and give her an outlet for all that energy. Safe to say she wasn’t complaining about the spontaneous field trip 🐾

Just a little reminder that my walks can be a great option for those days where plans change unexpectedly, work runs late, or life simply gets busy. I do my best to accommodate short-notice bookings where possible (subject to availability of course 🤎)

We are a couple of super proud aunties today 🥹
After Nu’nu’s first introduction to the girls last week, today we saw such a beautiful shift in his confidence.

This little guy came into social situations feeling unsure, awkward, and lacking a lot of natural social skills due to limited exposure early on — but instead of forcing interactions, we’ve been letting him move at his own pace with calm, stable dogs who are happy to give him the space and reassurance he needs.

Today he was not only much more comfortable existing around the group, but even started initiating little bits of play himself 🥹 although still hilariously awkward at times.

Watching dogs gain confidence in themselves through safe social experiences will never not be rewarding. The goal isn’t to create a “perfectly social” dog overnight — it’s to help them feel safe, understood, and capable in the world around them 🌿

Huge shoutout to the girls for being such patient teachers 🤎🐾
