To date this page equalled Glenvale.
I have not been associated with that development since 2017.
Unfortunately, I didn't have majority ownership and my core values of integrity, service and delivery of promise were under threat.
I am proud to have delivered the 19ish houses that my customers call home.
Ultimately, the project raced to the bottom for max price with min delivery and went under.
Greed from both developer and funder was egregious.
Or as they put it, normal for them.

To be fair, Urban living was always a banner, a philosophy, a vibe.
Live and deliver your truth. Value does not mean cheap.
Work for your customer and live up to your values so by delivering quality product over time you become a trusted brand.
With Glenvale that is what I did. It cost me money but it was honest.
Lesson, do not trust others with your dream.
Especially if you are not the majority share holder.
My problem was it was tryong to help my wifes family. Unfortunately that included Peter Chevin and his closely held business partner/funder Tim Edney.
I tried to help someone who said " I've changed" while his funder said i will help you help him and help your family too.
They hijacked it and I wish PC, CV, AR, TE and NS nothing and I hope your family treat you as you do the world and that "you all live in interesting times
You live and you learn, you adapt and eventually you tend to come back to your passions.
So, I relaunch this page UrbanlivingNz.
Like me; we have all been through a shock lately and things are a changing.
This page is dedicated to those who would redefine what urban living should be.
I will in due course open it to a community and welcome robust discussion but will maintain the right to kick triggered trolls who turn up feckless and factless. I will however, defend to the death, those whom I disagree with, if they can deliver credible sources.
Saying that you are and others are offended does not make you right.
Banter is ok but trolls are not. As a guide, humour is funniest when you take the p**s put of yourself, or exaggerate a theme using your own family. Opinions are absolutely allowed as long as you can defend then with facts.
This is a work in progress but not work.

The photos of white houses are what the bottom feeeders sold as affordable housing at the end.
Affordable meaning more profitable for them.
They even turned down contracts for approved purchasers of existing consentable quality dwellings because the profit margin wasn't enough. Still there are unbuilt homes.
