🏠For small pets that are inside, giving them extra bedding can be helpful for them to burrow and make a ‘safe house’. Creating a ‘den’ for dogs also provides a safe place. An easy way to do this is use a dog crate. Below is a great example of what a ‘den’ looks like. Also leaving the radio on can create a more calming environment.

⛺️For those living outside making sure their enclosure is covered with a blanket to help soundproof it.

💥Fireworks can be very scary for our pets so making sure they are safe and secure is the best - we are open till 6pm tonight if you still require advice or over the counter products.

Highly recommend if you are looking for new vet!

Meet the team! We wanted to introduce ourselves, we are Itsuki and Summer! Itsuki comes with just close to 20 years of experience as a Veterinarian and Summer has been nursing close to 7 years now.

We both have a background in both general practice and emergency and critical care! Itsuki also travels around Auckland scanning with her ultrasound machine, and does roughly about 800 scans a year! She is a confident sonographer. Outside of work you will find Itsuki spending time with her family, eating yummy food and on many adventures with her two wild whippets!

You will also find Summer relaxing with her two loud huntaway crosses and enjoying rural life in her spare time. Alongside getting in a gym session and doing digital artwork!

We pride ourselves on our calm and personable approach to all things, and we hope to get to know you and your animals better!

There’s something that changes in a dogs eyes once you have cleaned them, pulled the sticks out of the fur, washed the mud from the paws, massaged the conditioner through and trimmed them up … love his amber eyes 👀
