Today I had a proud Mum moment!
Today Jasmine had a fractured tooth extracted at the vet. When I went to pick her up, a nurse told be that Jasmine had been very well-behaved during procedures ❤️
Although we had practiced lots of mock procedures through our cooperative care training, the real procedures must’ve been much more stressful for her.
Good job Jasmine!! 👍😍

Today’s walk with Chilli was challenging as there were many dogs barking and lunging behind fences and windows. We saw a cat near us too. Previously she was reacting even to passing cars but she coped with them today. When I saw a dog coming out of a gate, I held a breath. But thankfully a man came out right after the dog to catch him. Phew!
The reason her behaviour improved so much all of sudden is that she was wearing a head halter. I normally don’t use the tool, but, due to the limited mobility of her owner and the size and power of Chilli, we need some extra support. Hopefully we can go out peacefully even without the tool in the future.
Chilli, well done for your work today! ❤️ Let’s wallk in a less stressful environment next time!
