After the shows completion we will have the Battle of the Mastiffs.
🥊🐾🥊 BATTLE OF THE MASTIFFS!
⭐️How does the Battle work?
Two dogs of the same breed enter the ring, one gets chosen and goes into the next round the other is eliminated, this goes on until we get down to one dog from each breed that goes on to represent its breed in the final.
⭐️When and where is it?
BOM is on the Sunday the 8th March after the clubs Championship shows completion, but not before 11am, at the Huntly College grounds.
⭐️Can I enter my dog ?
So long as your dog is a purebred Bullmastiff / Cane Corso / Dogue de Bordeaux / Mastiff / Neapolitan Mastiff / Tibetan Mastiff or Boerboel then yes you can absolutely enter this event.
⭐️What does my dog need to do?
Your dog will just needs to be clean & non aggressive. Be able to jog around the ring with you, then stand still for a few minutes and you be able to show its teeth to the judge, in the actual battle event, and boom that's it.
⭐️Do you have fun events available?
Yes, we have a novice class / most like owner / Goofiest look / Waggiest tail and Most unimpressed classes you can also enter as its all about having some fun with the mastiff breeds as well.🥇🥈🥉
⭐️What do I need to wear?
Casual tidy attire is the call of the day and you must have a filled in shoe. No slip on shoes allowed for safety sake. 👟👟
⭐️How do I enter?
You can either enter on the day or make a pre entry and collect your number at the grounds.
⭐️When do pre-entries close?
Battle of the mastiffs pre-entries are open via the club ( [email protected]) until the 22nd February also other cash on the day will be required please as we will have no eftpos facilities.
⭐️How much is entry?
Entry is $5 per class your dog enters.

We have a selection of prizes available to the winners on the day and exhibitor bag will be given to each exhibitor on the day. So everyone goes home with something.
