If your dog isn't behaving the way you'd like it's not because they're intentionally being difficult but rather because they haven't been given the right information to succeed.
This is important to notice so you can provide the right guidance and reinforcement in a way your dog understands. 🐕

Milo reminds me of this when he is confused while training and gives me a different behavior.
It's a reminder to approach my training with patience and clarity, realizing that he will respond to the quality of the information I give.

Be self aware while training, your dog is constantly picking up unintentional information.

Training toys are interactive 🐕

Interactive meaning - requires both you and your dog to be engaged and playing.

Building value in your dogs toys through play is an effective way to provide mental & physical exercise, help reduce boredom, promote engagement and yes as always, strengthen your RELATIONSHIP. 🙌

You know why your dog always brings the ball back to you? Because they need YOU to throw it.
Use this to your advantage, interact with them, show them that the toy and game come through you, they’ll start paying more attention to you.

Keep special toys aside for playtime with your dog to prevent them from being destroyed. This will make the toys more valuable and ensure the toy represents fun bonding and interaction.

Michael Ellis Seminar Melbourne 🐾

3 days packed full of learning from the very best

Micheal covered topics of focused heeling, principles of advanced obedience and working with arousal. His extensive knowledge and outstanding teaching skills always leave me in awe.

So very grateful to learn from him again and be surrounded by trainers taking on this in depth understanding 🙌

Always learning 🎓

Lovely weekend jammed packed with .michellerassool awesome knowledge.
Day 1 covered first aid and handling with care and day 2 was filled with insightful information on medication and behavior modification.

Understanding the science behind how the dogs brains, bodies and behavior works is such an important part of my job and this seminar hit all of them 🙌

Thank you to Astros owner for letting him be our demo dog. He was such a good boy!
