Please expect delays with my sincerest apologies while I navigate the worst days of my life.

I need to go home to my mum and put my family first.

But the real appreciation is for you Hartley and Raylene for all the work you’ve done for the past decade! As a rescuer myself, I don’t know how you are still smiling. We appreciate all the hard work you do for the Guinea pigs, Rabbits and Chinchillas!

Today's massive donation pickup of almost 400kg is incredible!
With hay being almost 90% of a guinea's diet and having over 80 guineas in the rescue, we're so grateful for their on-going support with hay.

🐰 We made time for this little beauty today 💕

Recently adopted by a very lovely and caring family (thank goodness!), she came to us in desperate need of a groom. But that’s not all, she’s also showing signs of respiratory issues, and we discovered she has splayed legs 🥺

This is exactly why it’s so important to see a rabbit savvy vet.

🐾 What does “rabbit savvy” mean?
It means a vet who has taken the time to do further study specifically on rabbits. Sadly, rabbits aren’t covered in depth in standard vet training.

So unless your vet has gone out of their way to learn more, they simply won’t have the knowledge your bunny needs. Some vets may have an internet in rabbits, or have worked alongside soecialosts but this still doesnt make them rabbit savvy.

This girl will soon be off to Pet Doctors, where we know she’ll get the expert care she deserves.

We’re always so grateful to cross paths with loving homes doing right by their rabbits, and open to advice. It fills my heart. 💛
