The journey of Marigold Research on Effect of Plant Growth Regulators begins with a fruitful day🌼
Today, we members of GAVS Purunchaur completed field preparation, Fertilizer application and Transplantation of Marigold using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) to study the effects of different Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) on growth and flowering.
We used NPK in 100:80:80 recommended dose rate with Urea 60g per plot, MOP 53g per plot and Bone meal 160g per plot.
The treatments include:
T₁: GA₃ 50 ppm
T₂: GA₃ 100 ppm
T₃: GA₃ 150 ppm
T₄: NAA 10 ppm
T₅: NAA 20 ppm
T₆: NAA 30 ppm
T₇: Control
Each treatment is carefully replicated and arranged in wells structure field and plot designs to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Through this research, we aim to evaluate how different doses of Gibberellic Acid (GA₃) and Naphthalene Acetic Acid (NAA) influence plant height, branching, flowering, and yield in marigold ✨
