Towards the end of 2025 we managed to organize a small spay and neuter program 🥳 10 lucky female dogs and 3 male dogs were collected from our Ward and had their surgeries done Pokhara 🤩🐕🐾 All of them received post care and regular check ups from us ♥️

In my opinion (and also looking at research!) there is no better and humane way to control the stray dog population than ABC (Animal Birth Control) ‼️ When we have the population under control there are less cases of conflict with the community; dog bites, road accidents and noise pollution too.

Humans have taken over planet 🌍, but we are not the only species who have a right to live on it ‼️ Only through healthy & respectful coexistence we can fully develop call ourselves true human beings 🙏

For 2026 I wish everyone growth, compassion, peace and love ♥️ we are all constantly on a journe to become our better selves ♥️🐶🐄🐮🐈‍⬛♥️🦋🌱 of course big thanks to ♥️🙏♥️

Christmas is a wonderful time to spread kindness and think of those who are less fortunate ♥️ that is why I am sharing this heartwarming story with you today ♥️

Some of you might have seen a post on my Facebook profile some time ago asking for help … A picture of a dog squashed in a tiny crate where she didn’t have space to move 😭 When I posted it I didn’t expect anything but soon I was overwhelmed with responses… people who I never met in person started contacting me and offering help🤩 Tashi Penjo who runs his own rescue centre was ready to donate a larger crate despite needing it for his own shelter! Another kind soul messaged saying she is ready to get a new crate as she can’t bear to see the dog’s suffering 🥹 The very next day it was picked it up and brought to Pokhara together with a new mattress to sleep on ♥️🙏🐾

Now Jenny has a comfortable and safe space to sleep in 😍 We are still in communication with her owners, trying to educate them on how to provide her with a better quality of life. It is a process but we won’t give up. We are trying our best for all of the dogs in our community and your support means a lot ♥️♥️♥️

Every time I look at this photo I feel emotional 🥲 Puku (the brown one) and Luna met for the first time 🙏 At that time both of them were fighting to survive… Puku had just undergone a foreleg amputation (her bones were completely crushed, most likely as a result of abuse 😩) and Luna who had just been rescued barely had the strength to walk 💔At that time, we had no idea that both of them will end up with us 🤪

Puku demonstrated incredible resilience and recovered pretty quickly while Luna’s journey was much more complicated and circuitous…

After seeing what Puku had to go through there was no doubt that she be released on the streets; sadly and typically an adopter couldn’t be found 😢 she joined our family in May ♥️ Luna spent some time at a shelter but had health complications and we had to take her in August.. I can’t be sure if they remembered each other from their time but looking at the photos and how they play and cuddle- most likely ♥️

Sadly, we can’t adopt every single dog who we meet on our way 😩 but looking at those two now - we are happy that we could give them the love and care they need and they can flourish together ♥️🩵💙💜

Community Champions wanted 🤩🥹😍

It is impossible for us to control all of Ward-31 all by ourselves 😢😿😞
We have full time commitments and very little free time… it is our dream to engage our community and to create an efficient support network for those in need ♥️

So please 🙏 share our request with your friends & families if you live around Begnas Lake, Pokhara. We need all possible help to inform us:
- if any animals in Ward 31 need urgent help 🙏
- if there are any new dogs/cats in the community who need to be spayed & neutered & vaccinated 🙏
- if there are any female dogs in the community who need to be spayed 🙏
- if any stray/community animals are sick and need veterinary treatment 🙏

Help us create an environment of compassion & kindness 🙏♥️ where street dogs can safely coexist with humans 🙏♥️

In these photos are 3 amazing young people who informed us about the poor condition of this female dog (now known as Luna). As she was in critical condition she needed urgent medical care. Their actions changed her life; saved her life ♥️ they visited her regularly on her journey towards recovery and they donated towards her medical expenses 🙏

Note: A spay and neuter & vaccination campaign is on the way! 🙏 please reach out if you can help us to find the dogs who will benefit from the program 🙏♥️

One of my biggest joys is to see them recovering well ♥️🐾😍

Pawan the dog (not to confuse with Pawan my husband 🤪), Puku and Luna are all this years rescues… The limit that I set for this year was a maximum of 1 ❗️But we couldn’t abandon them when they were in need 💔These are current photographs, they are already happy & getting healthier day by the day 🤞🥰

Luna still has quite a way to go; her story will be shared next ⏭️ Puku and her actually met at some point at Hart when both of them were really unwell 😢 At the time we had no idea that both of them will end up with us🤪 Puku recently suffered from a chest infection but thankfully she is doing well.

We are feeling hopeful for the Nepali people and for animals ♥️ We are sure that if we manage to reduce corruption, everyone will benefit 🙏 Humans ♥️ Animals ♥️ The Environment ♥️ We definitely owe future generations our absolute best ✨😇🎊💥

What is happening right now in Nepal is truly shocking and alarming but I can’t say it is not completely unexpected. Too many years of destroying the country and its citizens can’t be silenced.

Hearts are broken. Lives are lost 🖤 you don’t need to be a parent to understand that there is nothing more tragic to lose a child 💔 if a would be a mother I would like my child to be able to protest and I would be proud if they would ♥️ But sadly this protest of young people who want only what they deserve turned into a bloody and violent massacre 🖤 This movement cannot be stopped now but PLEASE 🙏 don’t risk your lives ❗️We need you ALIVE to rebuild this country ♥️ Those politicians and all involved are losers and their time is coming. Now you need to stay safe & peaceful because you are the FUTURE ♥️ and this future can be a bright one ♥️🙏

My sincere condolences to all who lost their loved ones 💔 that will never be forgotten ♥️

Please all stay safe everyone and provide street animals 🐈‍⬛🐕🐄 with the shelter too 🙏🙏🙏

Recently, all we seem to be doing is shuttling to and from the vet clinic. It started with Zeno and his ear infection 😢 At the same time just before I left for Vipassana, Luna (previously named Kirpa, Kali & Scar Face) was admitted to . Despite being under vet care and living in the shelter, she was not making any health progress, and only getting worse 😞 we know her since the end of April and were involved in her rescue.

Doing Vipassana time she was appearing in my thoughts and I wondered if she was getting better ? ❤️‍🩹 the great surprise was that on the day I finished my course, Luna was ready to leave the hospital 😍

Since then she already had a follow up visit and she is improving slowly 🤞more on her story and health condition in the next post!

Straight after I came back to Pokhara (not feeling well myself) I noticed that Puku’s behavior changed and she was not herself 😭 so the next day together with Luna & Shadow we headed back to the clinic. Puku was diagnosed with a chest infection and when her blood results came back they were not good 😞 Bad enough that she had to be hospitalised for two nights, but today she is back with us 🥰 Please send her some positive energy ♥️ this little one is truly special 🤩

Thankfully Shadow’s tests came all well and we are hopeful that he will remain healthy 🥰

During my very short stay in Kathmandu I managed to spot a good few un-spayed and un-neutered dogs.. and one with a leg injury. The relevant people & organizations were informed, and the injured female dog already received treatment ♥️ Let’s hope that others can be found & spayed & neutered 🙏🙏🙏
I also managed to visit Sete who despite all my efforts to find home… was never adopted and is still 🙏😢
We had lots of medical expenses this month and there are more to come… I will post more updates soon 🔜 If you would like to support our work don’t hesitate to contact me 🙏 help can come in many forms! All are welcome 🤗
